Desktops!!

You guys must watch a lot of tv to need tv listings constantly displayed on your desktops :D

Although, of course, there is no denying its cool factor

addicted? nah, not me. only 20hrs a day....

i just have a habit of missing stuff cos i'm too busy with my pc :D

hmm, think i figured out the killproc.exe problem. There is another thread around that mentions the .NET windows update is required for killproc.exe to work. I just installed that, so fingers crossed i won't have 6 instances of samurize next time i come back to my PC...... :p

can someone tell me how to use samurize? I have downloaded several different scripts from the samurize website but when I put all the neccessary things in the dir's its not there as an option to be loaded up. Is there a guide or anything to tell me how to use samurize or can someone help me please?

Thanks :)

Be warned with Samurize, when I overstretched that invisible boundary and that rectangle changed from green to red. After that every few seconds in a game I'd find my system would pause momentarily. Very annoying :D Make sure you keep it green, and don't have too many objects on it that need regular updating (it really doesn't matter if the clock only refreshes every 60 seconds!

To avoid such problems you can pause it by clicking the icon. Clicking again restarts it. Another alternative is to set the priority to very low.

It doesn't seem to do that for me, anyway there's an option when you right click it.

Thats weird cos its a feature thats been present since at least 0.85b just for this reason. But as you say right click to pause/unpause also works

When I click it, I just get the window itself. 0.98b btw :) although it is set to behave just as an ordinary window, not locked in place, or fixed on top or nothing.

samurize ISN'T really a "copy n paste" util, due to the way the scripts are written you need to understand the basics to get it to work. Saying that, most scripts from www.samurize.com come with pretty good instructions, and it really is worth spending an hour or so figuring it all out :)
Yeah, if you have a specific problem then ask cos we can help, but general pleas we cant help with.

When I left click the sys tray icon it takes a few second to reload the config and display it. Its not something as simple as you jumping the gun?

PS I'm also using 0.98b ATM

Nah when I click it, once, it definitely just opens the window.
