Destiny 2... It's a coming!

How much WoW gold did it cost to buy the game?

5 x WoW tokens to get me £50 on my Battle.net balance. Tokens are 280kG ish at the moment so around 1.4 million G.
It dropped my G balance down to 3 million but I'm paid up with my sub until November next year and I pull in 40kG per day ish for doing nothing but order-hall missions so figured, why not? Glad I did.

Clan lag issue is very annoying and needs sorting out asap as it affects so many people including me.

Yeah, it's really annoying as the game goes from buttery smooth to a powerpoint presentation in a few minutes.

yeah best option is play on americas server its only way round it bar leaving the clan.

It is, but I've found doing that means I can't find me friends even if they are also on the Americas server

Bummer is, I left the clan because of it... now the clan is full lol

You're in!

I'm going to go through the clan and kick people out who are already in other clans or who haven't actually played the game.

It's really weird, sometimes I get it after 10 minutes, but then last night we ran 5 strikes back to back without any lag at all. As soon as I loaded to the tower, the choppyness hit.

I'm going to go through the clan and kick people out who are already in other clans or who haven't actually played the game.

Yeah, sounds like a plan

Not that I agree with the DLC structure and the drip feed of content, but here are the details of the first content drop. Interesting that they hint at new raid content, wonder if that's just updates to the first raid or a brand new one? Lots of VOG esque stuff in the trailer too....

Today at Paris Games Week, Bungie revealed Destiny 2 – Expansion I: Curse of Osiris. This is the first expansion to the Destiny 2 universe, which will be released on December 5, 2017 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.

Destiny 2 – Expansion I: Curse of Osiris, takes place after the conclusion of the Destiny 2 campaign where you are dispatched to Mercury on a quest to find Osiris, the most powerful Warlock to have ever lived, to discover the answers humanity needs to fight back against the Vex.

Curse of Osiris adds a new chapter to the world of Destiny 2, expanding the universe by adding an all-new cinematic story with new and returning characters, a new destination to explore, Mercury and its Infinite Forest, a new social space to visit called the Lighthouse, new missions, new strikes, new raid content, new free roam activities. a world quest to complete, and more.

Month after launch and already want to milk us :(

Destiny has always done it like this...

Major release - September
Small release - December
Bigger release - May
HUGE update - September
etc

Expansion pass includes the first 2 expansions.

In between, they'll do some smaller updates / time exclusive ones like Festival of Light, Sparrow Racing League etc - throw in some content which will be removed next big expansion (Wolves are Prowling stuff).

September next year, will be The Taken King big update - new planets, raid, strikes etc - and you can buy it with the original content and all expansion packs.

Year 2 will then have more updates before a Year 3 Big release.

Actually, looking around Blizzard's store has the cheapest!

Blizzard Store: £25 - https://eu.shop.battle.net/en-us/product/destiny2-expansion-pass
GMG: £29.99 RRP, but for sale at £26.99 - https://www.greenmangaming.com/games/destiny-2-expansion-pass-pc/

Can't find it anywhere else...

That's more than I paid for the game :p

Possibly a daft question, but is all the new content paid or is it a mix of free and paid (for the larger packs)?

I only bought the standard edition due to the current shelf life and with what happened with D1, seems like that was the best way for me as I can pick it up later with expansions out.

HAHAHA yeah same here... free with my 1080Ti ;)

Usually paid for, but there ARE free content updates.
Have a look here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Destiny_(video_game)

After The Taken King, microtransactions were released and content came out that was free. Until Rise of Iron which again, a large update (£30 from memory).

Again, they also release a kinda complete edition with everything in it...

Think once I've got bored with D2 then it'll be put it down for the 'complete edition' plenty of other games to pick up atm that's just come out but after playing D2 it's making me want to start up on The Division again.
