Destiny 2... It's a coming!

I had lag ONCE in a cave on the planet with the roots and red grass (I'm bad with names) for about 20 mins through one adventure mission and not any other time. I'm an OCUK clan member but I play on NA servers. So I will probably never see any of you online. :(

BTW I have seen a lot of bad reviews for this game. Worth A Buy, a hilarious guy on youtube, gave it a crap review (I love this game btw) while he gave Wolfenstein II, which I also own and find rather average and lame, a glowing review.

Why are people hating on this game? It's wicked good.

Different tastes really, if I remember correctly, the Worth a Buy guy also gave South Park 2 a scathing really **** review, but I really enjoyed South Park 2. Then again every time I watch one of his reviews he seems to not like a game and just seems to find reasons to ding his little bell as his USP.

He also didnt like Assassins Creed Origins, which he said was boring and wasnt worth the money to buy it, which again I think is a superb game.

Finally finished the story and hit 20 yesterday after chipping away at it, can't say I was blown away by the story especially comparing it to previous Bungie titles I loved like Halo 3.

On with the grind now, only at 230 light or so but it already feels like a slog to get to 260. Some of the heroics are decent but even with a 3 man fireteam if randomers aren't on the map they get tricky towards the end.

I am currently (slowly) going through the story when time allows. Its taking me a long ass time to do it casually, but still enjoying it.

Just unlocked the planet IO - I think thats what its called.

Might try blast an hour out at lunch today.

How long does the raids last? I am getting pushed into buying D2 but I don't want to spend hours trying to kill Boss like I did in L2.
I would say once you've cleared it, you could run it in ~1h30mins average (also depends on whether you want the chests) There are also checkpoints after each encounter, so you can break the raid up (lasts until Tuesday reset)

The raids are very communication and mechanic heavy though, so first time through expect a few "wipes" while people get to grips with each encounter. For example, we went in blind for most of the raid (as its more fun IMO) and spent a good hour or so at the final boss, working out team roles / mechanics and going through a few wipes until we got a decent run. It's not just a strike boss that you can burn down with minimal thought.

Like all things, it comes down to the team; if everyone is pulling their weight and communicating, you'll breeze through.

PSA: Please charge your charge cannons when using them against spider tanks... deals more damage!

By the time you have charged up, you could have fired off 4 or 5 shots, it makes so little difference you may as well spam the fire button and move on to the next cannon.

Latest fix this Thursday looks like it may resolve the lag and clan roster issues.

Really hope that fixes it. Was doing the Mida quest line last night with a friend and it felt that towards the end in the EDZ I was getting about 10-15fps Especially when I was near Devrim.

Haven't played the D2 raid yet but speaking from experience, it depends on your team. If you have a good group of guys pulling their weight you can clear them easily enough. But if people aren't doing what they are supposed to be it could take hours. I've spent a good 5-6 hours raiding some days.

So it's like a typical MMO then but with the space guns :0

Don't dismantle all your rare weapons, some are extremely good in PvP.

Sondok-C is the same as the Antiope-D (the best SMG for the crucible on console). Armillary PSU and Azimuth DSU to name a few. I'm not saying that these are the best as everyone has their own preference, but keep these ones in the vault/lock them.

Pretty sure you can get these back somehow....I could be wrong.
You can, they go to your collection, which is in the vault IIRC. But I guess Balky is more annoyed at missing out on that 289 infusion fuel, as when you pull it from the vault I think its only 270

I accidentally dismantled a 294 exotic chest yesterday thinking I was in the infuse screen :(
