Destiny 2... It's a coming!

unless you want raids and nightfalls its very casual friendly, strikes, pvp and gambit all have solid match making as far as finding you a team quickly, them being any good is another matter.

Does anyone have any frame stuttering issues since the latest patch? I find it gradually gets worse the more I play it. I have a decent setup and all other games play fine.

OweO and I were having frame trouble the other night, it was all over the place but then sorted itself out after a while, but like GAM8LE I restart my game and it seems to sort it out.

Not bad considering I don't have Sleeper and JP got stuck with his Warlocks inability to jump (Been there, done that on PS4).

Don't normally get to peed off with games (except pvp) but that was starting to do my head in lol

So glad my super was ready at the end so dropped a Well of Radiance and you ran through with arc staff. 5 seconds to go phew :D

Hopefully some of the Destiny 2 clan might be able to help me with this. I can't seem to redeem weapons material with the gunsmith back at the farm - where there should be an engram for me to click as my reputation is maxed out, there isn't one.

Anyone seen this before? Or have I not progressed far enough into the main storyline?

Cheers :)

Had it before, means you now need to go to the tower to claim the rewards, if you havent finished the main story line you wont have access to the tower yet.

Got this last week for a tenner, put in around 12 hours over the weekend. Really disappointed in myself that I didn't play sooner as i'm a bit of a game loot whore and like RPG mechanics in shooters. Granted i'm only doing the campaign and helping with some public events on earth/titan as they appear near me but i'm really liking it and can see it's something that's going to absorb what little free gaming time I have.

The game got a lot better recently due to a massive update and overhaul of a lot of the core features. Forsaken is brilliant and the roadmap looks really promising. Of course it still has its issues but I am putting a crazy amount of time into it at the moment.

I was told by a fella at work today that if i'm already enjoying the base game that things will only get better and better as I proceed onto Forsaken.

I'm so torn. So do bungie actually deserve more money this time?

I really miss playing Destiny - haven't played anything since that Heatwave and faction rallies and starting to get that gaming itch again. I know I'd enjoy the expansion but most of my friends abandoned the game and for £40 I don't know if i should get Foresaken or get the new CoD....

Whoa whoa whoa let me stop you there.... "Don't know if i should get Foresaken or get the new CoD...." COD???? Over Destiny? you've insulted me with this suggestion :p

it's because I still feel *so* burned by Bungie and Destiny 2 that I feel reluctant to give them any more money (ultimately whoever I pay from D2 or CoD the same person gets the money). Look at the the first few pages of this thread. I was so excited to finally be able to play the game that had dominated the last few years of my gaming time on PC. I was so excited that, against everything I normally do, I pre-ordered the Legendary edition. I was such a Destiny fanboy that I would defend everything about that game...

Destiny 2 just felt like a slap in the face. For ever decent change they made the game took a thousand steps back. I just felt insulted. Then the two pitiful DLCS came out and made it even worse. The Dark Bellow and House of Wolves were far from stellar DLCs but they were much better than CoO and the Warmind DLC. In D1 I would spend hours grinding strikes/raids/heroics etc just to get that perfect Int/Dis rolled piece of armour - that was the fun part of the game to me. Getting a T12 armour set built around your class. The mod system in D2 had potential to be great and it turned out to be the most basic and boring thing they could've added.

I can rant for ever about how they ruined D2 to cater to people who would never play it for long enough to moan about the end game. But I just felt like they didn't care about the people, like myself, who grinded a lot. And I was far from a hard-hardcore player (had about 1000 hours - rookie numbers really). As much as I want my Destiny fix, they ruined the game so much from D1 that I really don't want to give them any more money

I got about 300 hours out of D2 up until I last played and despite that, and despite the fact I gave my PS4 away, I'd give anything to return to D1. Was the much better game. Now we just have token and lootbox as the main hook.
