Servers seem a bit flakey at the moment - getting randomly returned to orbit, or continual 'contacting servers' messages. Am sure it will smooth out given a little time...

Only fired it up to make sure characters had moved across safely. Probably wont give it a go until the weekend now

I'm not receiving the verification email to verify my account and thus cannot do the transfer.

I am brand new to the game, I do, what I guess is a tutorial section, when I get towards finding the ship, I get to a room with apparently nothing in, get a server error and get dumped back to the character selection screen.

Mine did the transfer anyway

I think we all need to just expect things are going to be a bit buggy at first. Bungie will sort it out quickly I hope.

It worked for me. Linked the accounts and clicked the buttons. Now have to download. :-(

bungie tweeted saying they had to take both D1 and D2 down for emergency maintenance. Seems their servers have fried. 211,000 peak on steam tonight

Managed to do a couple of missions and strikes but then it got worse as time went on with the server issues, got booted then.

Would I be missing out not getting deluxe edition? Seems a lot to stump up for a casual bit of gaming.
