Destiny 2... It's a coming!

Hey you leave my arm band out of this....

“wanders off mumbling about Hunters and Titans having visible class items”

:D

But at least the Warlocks look more fashionable than the Titans and Hunters. Even if it means paying the price of having the worst jump of the 3!

Man, even though I am a Hunter main I used to get so jealous of some of the Warlock exoitcs in D1. The Voidfang Vestments were special. Especially with the Crota shaders

Nothing manacles with scatter grenades and devour.... oh yes! Constant healing from all abilities and near constant up time on grenades... :D

Oh man I wish they'd release D1 on PC. All the armour looked way better and so did the weapons. The armour all looked rubbish in D2 (Titans Especially) the raid armour and weapons were all trash (I did only complete The Leviathan so perhaps they got better)

Remember the feeling when you first got a Gjallorhorn or are pre-nerf vex mythoclast. The Fate Bringer, Vision of Confluence, Fang of Ir Yut, Black Hammer, the proper Mida Multitool and proper Suros Regime and many others I am forgetting.

I totally missed all those feelings with D2. I remember getting exotics chucked at me left right and centre and they never felt special. D1 was really something special.

I'm sure Bungie recently said every year we will get 1 new raid along side the expansion + 1 kind of reissued raid from either D1 or the DCV mid way through the year, kind of like how we got DSC in November and now getting VOG in May. Been a lot of calls to get crotas end turned into a dungeon too! A good few reprised D1 weapons making there way to D2 this coming season, like hung jury and a few others.

LFR's are getting a healthy buff on tuesday, so time to dig out your sleepers and get the catalyst done! Though the current seasonal weapon - The Threaded Needle (void LFR) is shaping out just nicely with a healthy perk pool.

While im enjoying override, I can't help but feel its like a fancy version of contact from arrivals and that they've crammed a 6 player match made activity into what should easily (with the enemy density) be a 3 player activity.

its a million miles away from the menagerie thats for sure.

For those unaware, easy way to get the new exotics, fill all of your engram slots (easily done with umbrals) run the legendary lost sectors on any day, let the exotics go to the post master. When you open them from the PM they will decrypt on the master lost section drop of that day. So today is veles labyrnth, easy 3-4 min run, let them sit until legs day on master and it should give the new exotics.

Yup, more uninteresting repetitive content

Only really want to run Vault of Glass for the nostalgia, can't be arsed with having to do all this grinding to level up

At least its only a +10 from last seasons pinnacle cap to this seasons....

On the plus side unstoppable grenade launcher artifact mod is just silly, witherhoard can proc unstoppable twice on a direct hit, makes them so easy to deal with, witherhoard is definately going to be meta on GM nightfalls with unstop champions.

Edit: Just remembered anarchy is a GL too, thats going to be slightly broken lol, hope to find an LFG for VOG that isn't full of 'D1 verterans' that are going to demand 20000+ clears of it on raid report :p

dont forget the final column GL mod, its even more buster.

Hitting VOG on sat with a mix of D1 people who played it (and moved it over to D2). We have done a few day 1's together in d2 so I aint going in blind. Aiming to do the clear and challenges in 24hrs.

However, then I am taking a break from d2, its slowing down too much for my liking.

The breach and clear mod? handy but niche for 9/10 on an armor slot, though can see its uses vs bosses with anarchy/witherhoard as the 30% debuff sticks for the duration of the tick damage + 10 sec.

Think its slowing for lots, they haven't even near filled the monumental gap that sunsetting/DCV brought about. The fact this seasons 6 nightfall rotation have all been in rotation in the last two seasons speaks volumes about the lack of content. For what ever reason, still no corrupted, still no LoS, the vaulted planets had some fantastic nightfalls.

Haven’t even started this season yet. Keep booting it up ready to play and then just can’t be bothered. I even found a sticking plaster fix for the horrendous RDNA2 performance issues by changing out my 3950x for a 5900x. Even that isn’t helping the draw.

Bungies decisions around things that should be so simple like Transmog has left a very bad taste.

For me Even VoG isn’t that much of a pull considering how many times I have already run it.

I've got to level 20 on my season pass and I don't know if I'm gonna return to it as much this season (will jump on with you if you ever wanted to run some stuff). As you know I enjoyed last season and get to 200 but this one isn't interesting me.

Watching streams of VoG it does look good and there are a few changes but like you its not pulling me in.

Enjoying single player games at the moment. Mass Effect Legendary Edition and Days Gone.

Glad to see VOG arrived under a 'Legacy' node in the director that specifically states its for legacy Raids, Dungeons and strikes. Really hope to see the likes of savathuns song and nokris strikes return, crotas end as a dungeon perhaps, SOTP given that the boss room assests are alive and well in the new season.

managed to get the day 1 done on VOG including challenge mode. Never played D1 so it was fun, but the challenge mode was very extreme. No room for error from anyone.

Another 24hr emblem added to the collections :) Jumping in tomorrow to see what its like without contest.

Gratz, will have to check out some videos of D2 VOG and see how much it’s changed from D1 days. Vex Mythoclast was always my favourite D1 weapon.

Especially pre-nerf. It was ridiculous in the crucible before they ruined it (or rather balanced it!) Fatebringer and Vision of Confluence we're my favourites until they were no longer viable to use for PvE

Apparently detonating a well placed warmind cell completely by passes having to shoot the oracles in order as it just nukes them all at the same time.

Loving the empty vessel GL, running that with the void splash warmind mod, wrath, rage and medic on a top tree contraverse warlock is throwing out cells everywhere.

Pretty much sounds the same as VoG day 1 / week 1 in D1 in that regard. No one was on level for the final fight as you simply couldn't get high enough with the drops at the time (D1 Vanilla required you both get the drop and then run the raid to get ascendant energy / shards to level up the drop before it became max light / level).

This is before the forever 29 issue, whereby it didn't matter how many times you ran VoG you couldn't get to level 30 (max light effectively) without the right drops. I was forever 29 due to missing gauntlets until the first round of Iron Banana whereby I became a "fake" 30....

IIRC I was either level 28 or 29 in the final boss room and the Praetorians were basically team shoot only as you stood no chance taking them on solo without the right weapons (which no one had.. unless you were Davie who had ******* everything on his first run!).
