I originally pre-ordered the standard edition from the Blizzard App. Only recently did I pay the extra £15 or so to upgrade to the expansion pass.

Cannot wait!

Fair point :) It's small at the moment but plenty of time before release. I'm just putting out there on forums that I use , I have no doubt we will reach close to 100 before the game is released.... some members I know will be joining nearer the release. Not booking anytime off for this with it being on the run upto Xmas, rather save my days. Plus the campaign apparently takes 15 hours for a average player to complete will hardly require days of hammering it.
 
I've just been reading up on the clan situation. It seems that the limit for a single clan is 100 members. The OCUK one linked above is roughly 95% Xbox users and is already at 80/100 capacity.

I can see those 20 spare slots filling very quickly, so I've created a dedicated Overclockers PC clan. At least that way we have capacity coming up to the PC launch, and can maybe avoid the PC crowd getting split up. Get your requests in and earn sweet lootsies in game!

Every in-game activity (nightfall strikes, crucible, raid, or the Trials of the Nine) adds points towards your clan’s progression and eventually raises its own levels. Here are what you can expect from each of the levels:

– Level two: Provides additional Glimmer from uncoding engrams
– Level three: Increases public event rewards
– Level four: Improves loot from Cabal enemies
– Level five: Increases the amount of rep tokens you gain in Nightfall strikes, the Raid or the Trials of the Nine
– Level six: Strengthens every other bonus

You also earn Powerful gear for meeting your Clan XP Contributions per character, per week.

The campaign isn't the point of the game and is less than 10% of the content, you don't spend £20 on cinema tickets to watch the trailers ;)

Well yes this will be like any other game and become a grinder once the campaign is finished but for most people they will play the campaign do a few strikes and maybe step into a raid die then not go back at all.

I'm looking forward to it but I don't feel the need to hammer it come launch as like console players the ones that have done that and got geared are now complaining they have nothing to do.

Good catching up with you again last night buddy and getting the nightfall smashed. Sent a request to join PC clan too in preparation for the jump over lol
