If you like first person games then this a lot of fun to play through, end game is a little sparse but still worth the effort.

Feels so good to finally play this on the PC, feels very smooth and looks great. Playing with mouse/kb though does make the game feel easier.
 
Anyone else playing using a controller? I've noticed aim assist is off now (one of the issues with the beta was this). The controller feels really sluggish. Like there is lag... Tried a wired Xbox One S controller and a PS4 Dual Shock.

Also, in the Beta, I had a 3570K 3.4GHz and the 1080Ti and it ran on Highest at 4K 60fps no drops.

With my current setup, I can't achieve this! Have to turn down FOV to 95 and adjust some of the settings! Otherwise it dips between 52fps and 60fps.

Hahaha I've not played with a mouse and keyboard in years on the PC... Finding it hard ;)
 
First thoughts are it's an epic shooter. Got it maxed to the hilt at 4k and it flys. Visually it's lovely.

The outside bits with the rain / wind / music make for epic battles.

So yea, a great shooter. Look forward to playing more but it crashed on me just now LOL.

Confused by this. Is it a single player game, an MMO or something hybrid?

If I jump in on my own does it have a campaign? I.e a definite start and finish?

Been watching some videos online to get a flavour of what it is and it looks like Guild Wars with guns?

It can be played single player. Has a campaign and stuff to do when campaign is over. Has multiplayer stuff too. You can do the campaign with 2 other friends if you want.
Or 4 player pvp stuff. Or a 6 player raid. Or 3 player strikes / nightfall.

I pretty much did 100 hours on D2 on PS4 solo... only doing it with randoms for strikes as it matchmakes you with 2 other team mates.

First person shooter with multiplayer elements, not an MMO. You have a campaign to play through to level 20 and then you can access the end game content where you need to boost your light level to eventually do the end game raid building your gear up as you go.

I was a massive PC gamer back in the day... then moved to PS4 a few years back. Since then, it completely killed my ability to use a mouse and keyboard - I play much better with a controller.... maybe I should just keep at it... but it doesn't feel as fluid... like throwing a knife, spinning, grenading then meleeing... before pulling a super. Keyboard and mouse would be soooo stretchy to do this whereas a controller is bish bang bong, the opponent goes home.
 
yea suppose if its already in your muscle memory then its probably easier for you.. but it still seems like a disadvantage.. you can also rebind keys.. i have small hands so only use WASD and then zxcvfr.. i dont even use 1234 as easier to use my thumb for abilites skills and weapon change on mouse etc!
 
Nice gun play. Feels too easy though. Smooth controls, and headshots all day!

Favoring high damage, low ROF guns, like hand-cannons and semi-auto scout rifles. Nice meaty feel to them.

Not liking SMGs or auto rifles as much, but easy enough to control the muzzle climb.

I think I'm gonna like it!

Ya seriously. If you want to play with a controller, don't game on PC (with some exceptions like GTA5 single player).
