Managed to get to 244 light tonight, probs try the strike out tomorrow and start thinking about nightfall.

Loads more public events on this, all I've been doing most the day.

They are so going to nerf legendary shards, I've got loads.

how you get them ive got 15 and 225 light lol
 
Got 2 exotic engrams, one bright engram and about 6-7 legendaries from about 3h of farming. Can't say it was worth it as my LL only increased by 1.

Did not have the Flashpoint milestone active either :mad:
 
I've been using them to upgrade stuff by like 2 points lol, still got 53 of them.

The gun smith gives you purples, the different planets npc give you purples for handing in the tokens from chests and public events etc. Loads of purples and you get 3 from breaking one down.
 
That and upgrading any exotic I like to use.

Love the little secret touches they seem to have added. Like being able to turn public events into heroic events by doing certain things during.

Even the little time trial at farm, which I'm sure there's more too or will be at some point.

Nicely polished so far, hope the rest of it stays as well thought about.
 
So sitting at 267 light just now and struggling to go higher. I used my powerful engrams too early. Still have the nightfall to do so that's one more at least.

On that note looking to do nightfall tomorrow, day or night. Let me know if anyone fancies it or can help.
 
Did the nightfall at 245 with a couple of higher power friends. Theres a couple of sections that you can benefit from legging it right through but all in all it wasn't too tough!

How? Im only level 14 but not had one legendary drop at all which I find strange yet I have had 1 exotic drop makes no snse

You getting yours from dismantling??

I managed to hit 280 earlier so think I'm raid ready :) though hopefully the weekly reset Tuesday will net a few more powerful engrams from milestones. I only hit 280 on one set of guns so need some more to give me options for the raid.

It kind of all kicks off at level 20 tbh, just like the first game.

I didn't have any until level 20, about 6 hours later I have full purples and two exotics in use and 50 odd shards. Not even done the strike yet or actually finished the story mode.
 
Shame they didn't get rid of the stupid light grind, but hey ho!

How's the game going apart from that? Don't have time to play at the moment but I will pick it up at some point..
 
Sony confirmed that there is an issue with crashing on ps4 pro, I've had this couple of times during adventures or crucible. Not the console experience :rolleyes:

Looks like the "triangles" in the post credit scene may have been an unused 5th faction from the original Destiny.. prior to the script being ripped up and rewritten..

Very very interesting.. wonder if this has anything to do with Leviathan. However, I am now more inclined to think that is the Cabal warship of the Emporer.
I was originally thinking it was something to do with the Leviathan from Fundament but I think that may too lore heavy.

Wonder what these things are then..
 
What is the general consensus on expected light level for the new raid? I'm at 265 and will probably be able to get closer to 280 by the time the raid drops. 275/280 for default and 320+ for heroic maybe?
