Its cool right, new race for D3 maybe?

Pretty sure the raid is based on the Emperor as mention in one of the adventures and the book that came in the LE & CE versions of the game.

@Robi Yeah I reckon 275 minimum, with them releasing Challenge/Prestige mode a few weeks later at around 300

There is talk that max light is so I'd expect perhaps a 300-320 normal and 350 prestige.

Minimum light of 275/280 for normal.

All complete speculation..

I think that is the Leviathan/World Eater.. looks insane! Possibly the location of the Raid itself?

The stuff in the Cabal book was interesting.. I didn't read it all but I did note all of the Cabal leader images.. Raid bosses perhaps??
 
I can't see Bungie making the raid inaccessible on release so as the max people seem to getting to is around 280-285 (highest I've seen is 283) I'm thinking the raid will be 290 maybe 300. If you go to infuse on legendary guns it says the max power of them is 350 so presumably we will be able to hit that. Maybe normal raid 300, hard 320 and challenge 340?

267 here, loved it so far. Done all the lost sectors and region chests, got my Mida Multi Tool and Drang, and working my way through the other quests.

I've been wondering about getting a Pro, but discussions about crashes on the Pro are putting me right off!
 
What day to Milestones reset? Everything is telling me to wait until I'm as high power as possible to unlock the 'Powerful Gear' ones but by the same token I don't want to leave them too late and miss out.

edit: Bit odd not having guaranteed purchasable items in certain slots for rep rewards. I guess they have completely re-worked the way reputation provides items with 'levels' much easier to obtain but it was still nice to know 'If I get to level X and have Y resources I will get a power/light level Z boots/helmet/weapon'.

I have a Pro which I purchased last week for D2 coming out. I've had no issues at all. I can also say that it looks amazing, playing at 4k on a 55" screen, especially comparing it to my Son playing on his normal PS4 upstairs.

Thanks, yeah I did a quick Google and that makes sense. Need to smash them out tonight then!

edit: and Xur Friday, wonder how many Shards will be required for gear and what power they'll be.
 
Nightfall strats?
We got to the end of it with about 20seconds left when the lift finally got up, now ive read that you can insta nuke him and skip the long fight if you have 3 sinked supers up of the burn element but we werent even close.

Which mobs do you fight and which do you skip?

When you're going up the lift and he stands at the top ignore him. Immediately kill all of the turrets on the platform behind him. He'll then jump into the centre between the two platforms. If the arc burn is active all 3 players (if hunters ofc) should then stunlock him into oblivion with arcstrider. We melted him in about 15 seconds with 8 minutes to spare.

I'm sure you can replicate the above with any other combination of supers. However, the key thing is that all 3 players use the same burn.
 
Finally managed to finish the campaign and have to say very impressive with the length of it. Much better than D1.

Currently at 228 level so need to do some serious grinding to get as high as I can. Problem is I don't have much time to game like I used to with d1.

I've finished all my milestones off pretty much, think I just have a few more to do ie strikes and crucible.

You guys sure about that?

I thought reset was 10am and it was 6pm for iron banner start, raid unlock, etc. I'm almost positive D1 went down at 10 and came back up at 10.30am.

I think you may be correct. It's been a long time since I cared about the exact time of the weekly reset.
 
This game is stupidly addictive. Not sure what it is, but I definitely get a warm and tingly sensation every time I find a legendary or exotic engram. :D
 
First nightfall solo already. I'm not sure but I reckon the guy has levelled at least 2 if not 3 characters and swapped gear between them.
