Destiny 2

Hello Xbox Clan members!
I've rather unceremoniously booted the inactive players (no D2 Characters at all across all platforms) so have opened up roughly 20 spaces. If you've been booted by mistake and do play, then I'm an arse and I can only apologise!

Can you ping me an invite? GT is R1chyfingers.

I'd like an invite if possible, GT: Battery000

Nothing to do other than the Prestige raid, hopefully the DLC brings players back...

Think they have nerfed the bright engram drops - haven't received a piece of optimacy gear, an emote or any exotics for a long time. Had them fairly regularly when the game was first released.

Once upon a time...

I really enjoyed my first 40-50 hours then I began to question what I was doing. Haven't played this game in a month.....Fortnite, Origins and even watching my son play Rocket League.

I'm really contemplating selling this and the expansion pass voucher. It's an enjoyable game but I haven't really played it that much in the end. I splashed out on Black Friday deals so it'd be nice to get some money back and I don't think I'll have the incentive to stick with it, especially that there's so much emphasis on team play after the campaign.

The question is whether I'll get enough to make selling it worthwhile as the game is getting quite cheap and it's not like I paid full price for it (white Pro bundle which I got cheaper itself). Maybe I should just leave it on my shelf and wait for the first expansion to hit just to see how it's like. I might start playing it more one day but with five other higher priority games in my backlog, it might not be anytime soon.

What would you guys do in my place, keep just in case or sell?

I'd probably blast through the campaign and re sell it if I were you. The end game needs a rejig and the upcoming dlc doesn't look to add that much. The end game is weak and the game seems too dumbed down now.

Yeah, seems like a good idea. It's one game less to waste time on, especially that I've just picked BF1 Revolution in the sale. Should be a lot better for some occasional online shooting without gimmicks and too much grinding. I mean, I was enjoying what little I played but at the same time didn't feel the urge to jump back in.

Aww man, no fashion show tomorrow :(

Incoming Developer Commentary about Destiny.
Hey, there.

Tomorrow, we had planned to conduct the final stream prior to the launch of “Curse of Osiris” to show off some of the weapons and armor the expansion includes. Instead, we are investing all our efforts into delivering some higher priority information about Destiny 2. You’ll hear from studio leadership about their assessment of Destiny all up, they’ll talk about our goals for the game going forward, and you’ll also learn about how we’re reacting to your feedback with some game updates that will arrive in the next few weeks.

That will appear on the Bungie Blog on Wednesday.

Thank you,

DeeJ
