Destiny 2

Dear god it must be bad...

Been playing Fortnite with JP, Mario Odyssey and really got into Diablo 3 (which has this cool thing that when weapons and armour drop they can have different rolls.....).

I don't get this game, TBH. It's marketed as a big MMO-ey shooter with lots of content and it's really enjoyable so far mechanics-wise but I'm already level 7 after around 4 hours of casual play. I've played a few rounds of Crucible, done a couple of story missions, some adventures and 1 public event etc.
With the changes from D1, it doesn't seem like there's much to grind for, other that for the sake of grinding, and reaching level 20 can be done fairly quickly.

I got the game and the expansion pass with my Pro and decided to keep it but I'm now considering selling the pass and getting AC: Origins on PC. I don't think I'll stick with the game for long enough to play through the expansions as I'm not really hardcore enough to be that much into clans etc.

there are 2 levels. reaching level 20 can be done within like 8 hours.

the other level maxed at around 300 will take days to reach.

First expansion trailer, sorry don't know how to embed.

Just watched this morning.

Not sure what to think tbh.

Going by the state of D2 atm it wouldn't surprise me if this was Dark Below all over again. Very light on content with a main character that is meant to be "the most amazing ever" but still needs us to come and save their ass / do everything for them...

Maybe it will be a return to form though? Lots of new weapons and armour with interesting random perks (reintroduction , QoL improvements, Rejuvenation of the end game to give us something to do/chase and plenty of actual new content.

Got quite lucky with the Raid tokens for my Warlock. 2 engrams turned into the chest and arms pieces I needed. Just need a +5 mod to hit 305 now and then just the Hunter to go.

Challenge mode on Baths was a little tricky, reads much easier than it is. Ended up getting 2 submachine guns and a ton of tokens.

This is the first week since launch where I haven't bothered logging into D2 to see what the new content is. With Wolfenstein 2 and AC Origins out I just don't have any interest in grinding for what will probably be duplicate items anyway.

Raid seems to have gone in my favour this week. Hunter gauntlets and helmet from the raid, cloak and legs from the engrams. Only need the chest to complete the set.

Double post but this does make me LOL

Saw this post on Reddit then checked the stats of the OP...

Haven't bought D2 because it looked like just more of the same grind. Seems I was right....

Shame as Destiny had so much potential to build on.

I don’t regret buying the game, but yes it’s pretty much more of the same...just a little bit less of it as D1 was at the start.

I just got Legendary Legs (Dunemarchers) I cannot equip more than 1 legendary at a time.. why? I have a Legendary chest but it's my only piece..
