*** Destiny Raid & PvP discussion thread ***

I'm looking to sort out a group for Crota's End NM on Tuesday. PS4 of course. I already have a couple of people, who's up for it?

Start at 7:30.

1) Moon-EU- - 30 Hunter
2) TowerZ_UK - 30 Hunter
3) Righteous_Rabbit - 30 Warlock/Titan
4) djcj - 30 Titan
5) ps3ud0 - 30 Hunter/Titan/Warlock
6) Davey_Pitch - 30 Warlock

Should be fine. I imagine they'll all be online and even if not, Schnip is reliable so he'll step in. I doubt they'll be needing me :p

If you or the Doc have 2 characters that need it as well then I'm fine with that, but if not, I should be able to solo it on my 30 after I get home tonight, then I'll jump on to my 27 in time for our run. Unless you really want to do it twice :D

Agree about the Templar, worth trying when you get there but the for bonus of a 2 or 3 ascendant mats it isn't worth wiping over and over to do it. It is annoying that I only need boots and they aren't dropping and there isn't exotic boots so have to wait for the RNG Gods to smile on me. Yeah the Atheon fix is nice, I said it earlier most of the other Atheon bugs, while annoying and they shouldn't be there, aren't necessarily game breakign whereas the teleport bug was.

Enjoyed the runs last night, most fun I've had in VoG for a while, even if I did do my normal by completely missing the middle platform on Atheon and jumping to my doom :p

You really want me to join this raid :p. If I do this raid I might raid the day after in ps3ud0s group as well(I will feel bad joining one group and not the other), in which case I will pick the class that the raid group is short of. By the looks of it, I will be playing either a warlock or a titan.

He's over complicating the relic holders job.

There are so little enemies around during the templar fight that the relic holder can easily just run about bashing oracles and killing harpies. One go of right trigger with the relic kills them in one hit, even at level 29.

We did the templar for a second time this week, I was relic holder as my 29 warlock and we got it on the second proper run. One person down the bottom with the relic, another person to help him out and cover the back oracle spawn leaivng relic holder to kill harpies and run around and charge his super up asap.

No need to go and hide on that ledge like that waiting for your super to charge, get down on the ground and kill some harpies to charge it up faster !
 
Its very ineffecient, he spends so much time waiting for his super to charge. With 100% intelect and some harpie kills you can charge it in seconds.

If anybody on XBO wants a relic holder for the templar I'll gladly jump in for a bit to help out.
 
Templar on normal is a cake walk, did it on our first attempt last night with two randoms, one of which was a mute. Hard mode is another matter, not looking forward to trying that again.

As it seems that even with DLC vanguard armour will still only go to 27 light that people will still be running VoG raid after the DLC?

I havent actually - I used to organise a HM raid but the Atheon stuff just got me too annoyed to keep trying beyond getting the raid helmet - I do tag along with another group who I think has a slot spare for this Friday - zoomez is the man to ask! No idea regards the DLC armour, I tend to avoid too much information about new things and want to discover them myself - I asuem you can make level 30 with it but unsure how...

Can people just confirm day/time please as I havent seen some of you since last week online - looking to make this a regular time/day really, but I know Soulja might be the only one that has trouble making it every week due to work commitments

anybody fancy normal VoG raid tomorrow afternoon 3pm? got a group of 5 already. Got a couple of things i need to try and they are easier if there is 6.

I'm also seriously considering quitting Destiny too as the recent announcements have me disillusioned with the game. Perhaps I need a break or perhaps its time to move on. Greeboth is more than welcome bud - he's a regular on here so I don't think we'll have any issues with reliability :) - Greeboth you up for Friday night raids? - we usually gather about 8:15 to start for 8:30. Prob our last VoG raid run this week, after which it will be time for the new one (provided everyone has the DLC!)
