So from last nights raid, we can safely say that Thor enjoys standing near cliff-edges, on his own....having got there....on his own....

Jammie barsteward! Icebreaker is the weapon I want most of all. I'll be content once I have that, Atheon's Epilogue (which in turn will help me get Thorn), and Corrective Measure.
Yeh, still interested in completing the run. Is this for tonight or tmrw night? I'll check with duck and rps to see where they are at. I definitely think we can do it with the strategy we were trying at the end last time, we never gave it a proper shot as Duck struggled with the oracles and Si. got disconnected on the other attempt.
I was meaning tonight (Thursday) but I'm happy to do Friday night instead. I'm sure the gf would be happier if I wasn't raiding 3 nights in a row!
I agree that we didn't have a proper go at the Templar. There's a few strategies that should be pretty simple, but the 4 or 5 up top, 1 or 2 down below sounds the safest.
our whole area had a power cut just as we were about to start..
We did it last on Normal by all staying together on the right hand side by the cave and ignoring the Oracles.. seemed to work well and wasn't too hard TBH.
Tonight is good with me for a 8pm start.. Tomorrow would defiantly be a 9pm start for me.

Ha yes I was very happy, turned out a productive evening as I got the chest piece and VOC from the raid, it looks like my Hunter alt might now make 30 before my Warlock!
Only need gloves for Hunter my Warlock needs Helm so if I never manage to get through Hardmode its not going to happen
I can do anytime tonight but not tomorrow.
Had fun last night - doing the Templar normally was a breath of fresh air, shame we couldn't stop him teleporting but I think as soon as it dawned what the possible reward loss was it seemed more a waste of time than anything
Annoying no one got anything useful it seems - wouldn't have minded a duplicate exotic to destroy
That single Atheon bug fix does make Atheon nice to do now - will be doing a hard raid so be interesting how that goes on those 2 areas!

Agree about the Templar, worth trying when you get there but the for bonus of a 2 or 3 ascendant mats it isn't worth wiping over and over to do it. It is annoying that I only need boots and they aren't dropping and there isn't exotic boots so have to wait for the RNG Gods to smile on me. Yeah the Atheon fix is nice, I said it earlier most of the other Atheon bugs, while annoying and they shouldn't be there, aren't necessarily game breakign whereas the teleport bug was.
Probably buried somewhere in this thread but have you got a group for hard? I know I am only 29 but never tried to do a full hard raid.
As it seems that even with DLC vanguard armour will still only go to 27 light that people will still be running VoG raid after the DLC?

May have been posted but this is a decent quality video with a 5/1 split for Templar would work as a 4/2 split as well I would think to help with oracles.

I'm also seriously considering quitting Destiny too as the recent announcements have me disillusioned with the game. Perhaps I need a break or perhaps its time to move on.
