Sorry man.. I've now completed two hard raids and have two Mythoclast's13 times I've run the raid now on hard.
I've had
Atheon Epilogue x 4
Vision of Confluence x 3
PraeDiths Time Peace x 1
Fate Bringer x 2
Found Verdict x 5
Praediths Revenge x 3
Corrective Measures x 1
Hazen Vengence x 3
Plus enough armor to get two characters up to level 30 with multiples to spare (eg on both my level 30 characters I've had at least 3 helmets)
But still not one single Mythoclast. Damn thing just will not drop for me
I would happily trade one for Atheon's Epilogue.

Epilogue is probably the worst of the raid weapons tbh, you're not missing out on much. VoC, Fatebringer & the Mythoclast are far better.
High RoF, low Impact are trash but every time I level up my Vanguard rank it insists on dropping me a fresh Dr Nope in my mailbox.
Gunna see if I can get another Hard raid complete today, see if I can get a third Mythoclast.
The rage in the team yesterday when it dropped me another was brilliant. Wish I could gift dupes to my friends.
Yeah, VoC is the main weapon I use. The reason I want Atheon's Epilogue is to make the Thorn bounty easier. As a hunter, I have no void super, melee or grenades so have to rely on void weapon kills only.
It went well, think we were done by about 12 or so. The hardest bit was definitely the gatekeepers, which is unusual in my experience but we did only have 2 lv30s for a lot of it. Davey Pitch and stevo joined near the end, I think stevo got the raid helmet which bumps him up to 30 but I cant remember what everyone else got. The final atheon run was a bit tense as we only had 4 players left alive and the final time we were teleported he had around ~2% hp remaining so it's not the kind of time you want to end up wiping.
It's a lot easier than you think bud - I did it just this week using my Hunter and a void fusion rifle and machine gun (primary was some cruddy hand cannon I was levelling up).
Took me 3 hours in total - and thats me being absolutely crap at PvP. Grab the special ammo and just use the fusion rifle to get the void kill. Dont concentrate too much on camping and getting void kills - just play the game as normal but restrict yourself to your void weapons when possible (sometimes it ain't). Make sure to use the blade dancer class and grab a load of crucible bounties - you'll be surprised how quick you get through them!

I was averaging a KD of about 0.8 at one point. Best thing to do is play cautious until you get your first kill, after that go wild
Even if you kill one person and die once that way your still up 2 points. It's 5 points per kill and -3 per death. Helps if you know the maps I suppose - I got used to them all whilst doing the other bounty which requires PvP action.
Don't forget your bladedancing abilities - it pwns on PvP, but whilst it doesn't count towards this bounty it'll ensure you get the kill instead of the death

I think I'm just resigned to knowing I'll never own any weapon where the bounty involves PvP.
What are peoples thoughts about Crotas End and possible spoilers when people start raiding? Make people spoil quote stuff or just leave it as free reign?
Personally I'd rather avoid anything and go through it blind as part of my enjoyment is working it out myself

Good point. I was wondering whether we should split the raid thread Xbox/PS4. But we've managed well so far and considering the strategies will be the same on both maybe we split the threads so we've got a discussion and an organisation one?
The discussion one will contain spoilers, but won't stop people from finding VoG and Crota raids. Thoughts?
TBH knowing how raid stuff has flooded into the main Destiny thread some of the time just breaking into more threads seems an exercise that probably will fail. I was tempted to ask if we should just make a new Crotas End thread but that seemed over the top requirement...
Id rather people just throw anything possibly spoilerific into the spoiler tags and its up to people to choose to click on them or not. No doubt quicker than we anticipate that will be forgotten anyway or people will want to openly discuss tactics once weve discovered the raid checkpoints are well known. Im sure common sense doesnt need that much discussion really
Just be nice to let everyone who wants to try this fresh the time to do so before we all break the raid down into 'do this or do that to succeed' exercise. Ive felt bad for people who have come late into raiding as they just lost a lot of the discovery parts of the VoG because everyone else (including myself) now treats it as 'lets get our rewards as quickly and easily as possible'...

Ill be up for the new raid, only a level 29 at the moment though (need chest).
