Complete agree, happy to continue using one thread. But do we want to edit the title so people know to use spoiler tags for the new content? No one will be reading the OP now. I don't know what the convention would be, something like the below?

Any confirmation yet on the light level for DLC vendor legendaries? My main and alt are now missing one raid piece each to get to 30. No doubt getting a group for new raid will be as fun as getting one for hard mode at 29.

I'm sure it's been confirmed that vendors will sell gear with light level 30. I'd expect it'll be purchasable from Tuesday.

This sounds like a good option! I'll use those spoiler tags, I bet I'm not the only one looking forward to going in blind and figuring everything out :)

I've looked at them in the database and they show as light 27 but I've read on Reddit here, http://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheG..._scouts_guide_to_being_prepared_for_the_dark/, that the new vendor armour combined with a new exotic will get you to light level 31. I thought they were just bumping the defence values on the vendor armour, so that's pretty cool for those who haven't got lucky in the vault of glass with armour drops!

Obviously getting these vendor armours is now more difficult, needing the marks and a crucible or vanguard commendation which are received when ranking them up after rank 3.

I'll have both my chars sat on 99% of a vanguard level so hopefully at the very latest i'll be 30 on at least one by the second week of DLC.

Never know, I reckon we can beat at least the first checkpoint on the new raid, RNG could smile on me!

Will level 29 be alright? If not I'm willing to give way to a 30. Anytime Tuesday is good for me.

Crota's End is the new Raid and I think you need the new DLC to access it (although I could be wrong). Have you done the Vault of Glass raid previously? The new raid is level 30 so I think level 28 might be a little bit under levelled to be truly effective.

Never done a raid, got no xbox friends who play destiny lol :(
 
Yeah, they played it for a few hours and hated it lol... Kind of wish i stayed on PS4 as some of you use to randomly join my fireteam... Xbox lot are crap :p
