Sorry guys been a busy few days so only just seeing these - unfortunately RL has kept me busy so I just won't have a chance to be on today at a reasonable hour to get CE done. Also while I have the armour to be 31 - lack of glimmer has killed any easy chance to upgrade
Hopefully tomorrow but please carry on without me if you get the chance. Love to have one final try at the boss before refresh just to see the damage difference and later parts of the fight...

He kept yelling at everyone for dying and then 5 seconds after throwing his toys out of the pram he got 1 shot killed and instantly rage quit 
Because everything wasn't going perfect every single step of the way he was just getting more and more wound up and as soon as he died and quit, the lobby just instantly burst out laughing. What I don't get is that none of us including him had beaten Crota yet and he was losing it on only our 6th wipe, which is strange because the entire raid was done first time round up until that point.

Did a VoG hard mode with a bunch of american wannabe gangsters....put up with it until atheon as it was fairly smooth but when we started wiping...they all blaming each other and whenever one of them died it was a glitch...sheesh. Made a new group and got and did it in a few minutes. First hard mode clear, pretty easy when you're 30, and o finally got some shards so I should be 31 in time for next week's CE.

I think we'll still be a bit short tonight judging by whose online so I think I might give it a miss tonight, just got to 31 so hopefully it will be a bit easier when we are all together again.
Yeah prob for the best. I hit 31 earlier as well so hopefully I can do a bit more damage.
If we aren't doing a run tomorrow I might reset my checkpoint so I can get the first chest before the reset. Haven't got it yet

I don't think I'll be on to much tomorrow so fine with me probably look to go again Tuesday night if people are around

Yep, the group i did it with smashed him first run! Got myself some gauntlets and emblem
Put me down for that Still need some ascendent mats so VoG should be good. Hopefully CE should be easier now more people are 31 but even if we don't finish it we should easily make first couple drops and chests.

We got from hellmouth to crota within an hour and got both chests. First parts are easy. Getting a sword user for crota that knows what they're doing and having everyone smash crota at the same time is the key to beating it. It just doesnt work if eveyone doesnt work as a team and picks random things to shoot at. The team need to ALL shoot crota as the sword guy jumps onto the crota platform so crotas shield is down in 2-3 seconds as the sword guy runs up to it. When an oversoul turns up, the whole team need to shoot it together instantly. If you get 1-2 people not shooting or focussed on running around/killing adds then it'll be a wipe.
CE run throughts will only get quicker and ultimately I think CE will go the way VoG has, going from a stressful long winded afair to being a joke and a laugh and doing stupid things. Didn't manage to get to Crota though this week, group started off at a mix of 29's and 30's (4/2 split or 3/3 can't remember) but by the end of the week it was a 31 and 5 30's but couldn't kill the middle witch fast enough. Hopefully this week with a few more 31's it should be a little easier.
