*** Destiny Raid & PvP discussion thread ***

Cool, just drop in if you fancy it, by the time we've got properly started we're unlikely to have got much further than confluxes by 8.

Will be doing IB rest of the week, I'll start up a party chat each evening 'OCUK IB', or join one if it's already up

Oooo PvP party! Although I regularly play with a few other guys who would be keen I doubt we'd have space for everyone. I'll put my name down and if we get oversubscribed maybe we can work out two parties (and wait for the inevitable match up).

Got a tennis match that night so won't be on till late if at all I'm afraid :(. Will deffo be on over the weekend though.
 
I'll be up for some iron banner on the tuesday (xbox one). Is the helmet being sold by the big guy? would be nice to get hold of that if he is.

Do enjoy the crucible as a group! Usually play with gord and co. Parko, if you read this - get your thorn bounty done, surprisingly easy in iron banner :)

The missus is being annoying and goes travelling for 6 months next Tue and with being at work in Scotland till Wed my play time is limited, people are so selfish. Ill be on most of Thur and Sat... Thats a lot of IB grind :(

Count me at least on a few of the evenings (I apparently have to spend time with the Mrs at some point... :eek::p).

I'm going to bring every decent weapon I can find in the vault on the 31 Warlock (Called "Lottie"). I'm a little worried by the Oracles as I won't have anything with the Oracle disruptor perk. I *think* something like Monte Carlo at close range should be fine as it has a huge mag and hits hard enough*. Should be fine but I am so used to my loadout that it will take me a while to adjust.

*If in doubt she has a maxed Murmur...

I can be rocking SGA and Praetorian Foil for oracles, should be np :) Or just Ice Break them from up top....

Yeah that was a good VoG run. Glad I got the Mrs something to show for it. :) Shame no Vex or VoC for her though.

Sorry about messing up on the sword. By that point I could tell I was tired. Right at the end I walked right into an Ogre's "Death ray" as my concentration level was through the floor :(.

Ah well, next time is a charm.
 
Thought it was pretty good, consider how many hours I've spent wiping on it! Maybe we can sneak in a kill during the week. The completionist in me wants the shader mainly :)

It's not for self res :) It's a good option for PvP. 2x fusion grenades (one stick = death, easy postmortems if nothing else). Radiance as an offensive weapon with Claws of ahamkara is beastly.....I've cleared many busy control points, just dive in slinging grenades everywhere and one shot meleeing people.

Nice! If I make enough progress to get the helmet (rank 4 I assume) I might try and get it again on my Wife's Warlock. She has a decent enough loadout for PVP that I should be fine (Hawkmoon / Red Death, Shotty, MG18A)

Mine will of course be:

Thorn / Suros (fall back weapon)
Felwinter's Lie / Found Verdict
Deviant GRavity-A / Jolder's Hammer

Not sure on Sunsinger (HoPF / Claws) or void Walker (Voidfang or Claws of Ahamkara). Will decide on a math by match basis I think.
