*** Destiny Raid & PvP discussion thread ***

Aye cheers for getting through the raids last night - Shame I ran the wrong character for the CE parts but we got through it all smoothly.

I still need to complete a Hard Mode Raid so eager to get into one of those if there are any going on soon.
Also, I'm not fussed about the trophies outside of franchises I really love (Souls, Final Fantasy) but the only 1 in Destiny I'll need is the 'complete a raid without anyone dying'
Anyone else managed to get that?

Looking at it, it should be actually pretty easy if done on CE NM once we all get through PoE content and reach Lvl 34.

Team #1 Story -> NF -> PoE

You guys got any keys? If so we can do more than one PoE run....
 
Well every little bit will help. But yeah it's not really that hard with all 32s if you actually play for a no death run and are really careful.

Most of my deaths come from firing rockets into walls or other players heads.

I'd be willing to try it some time but I'm not that bothered - if it proved to be a headache I couldn't be bothered. lol

Just thinking about it, we should be able to triple run the NF still. We'll just need one character to launch it, then the other two join from an alt, then the first can switch to their alt :)

Flawless Raider isn't too bad actually on CE NM. I've done it twice with different OcUK groups, and the first run we only had 5 people. The trickiest part is actually falling into the Abyss! We must've had over half a dozen restarts here with someone randomly dying from the drop.

I've nearly done a Flawless Raider solo on CE NM. I died once at the Deathsinger, and that was it. I've never really tried for it though, but I'm sure I could do it solo if I put my mind to it.

I have always found the key for me is to not try.

If I focus on not dying I will do something stupid and die (like hit the hooks in the ceiling whilst trying to take out a shrieker).
 
Any others want to set another mini team aside for the HoW content?

I'm free any time from 6pm on Tuesday so if anyone wants to party up to go through the new content feel free.

Yeah, the run where I only died once wasn't an attempt, it just went well. I did realise after I'd died that I was on for it though, that's when I got annoyed with myself.

The annoyance is that I find the Abyss and Bridge easiest with my Titan, and the rest easier with my Warlock. Shame I can't swap partway through!
 
If anyone wants to run Weekly/NF/HoW later on Tuesday I will be on around 9pm (busy at work right now so can't get on earlier). Also got 2 keys so far for anyone that wants to do PoE runs, but I'm 31 and think I may hit 32/33 once the patch hits if I can ascend enough of my items.

Of course, but please allow 10 min delay just in case I get stuck in traffic on the way back home :)

Though I think there might be a few minutes delay before servers are up after 6pm gmt.
