*** Destiny Raid & PvP discussion thread ***

Some of the XBO boys will have spoken to my son who's 11 (phog especially!). I said I would sort him a VoG run when he got to Lvl 26 well he's just got to lvl 32 so the time is here!

I'm looking at Saturday as the missus is out but if there is more interest on another night then we could change it.

You should join some LFG groups in PoE with the titan, and record their reactions when you get to the boss and tell them you don't have your bubble unlocked :D

I could be down for this assuming Saturday doesn't turn into a cluster**** like last week!

Don't feel bad mate we'd been at it 4 1/2 hours lol. I wasn't leaving until the job was done and believe it or not we got an LFG in and did it on the next run. Was pretty gutted you left because it was only and extra 10 mins or so.

We just did the method with the bubble on the stairs and kept ghorning him and at one point he came up in front of the bubble so we had to just keep moving way back from the bubble before hitting him.

Nearly didn't get it though as there wasn't much time left on the first mine by the time he went down and it spawned furthrest away lol. 1 second left when it went down.
 
I think me and FallenEden got lucky with our LFG guy! He went down on the 5th or 6th go. We put bubble on left side, just to the left of the door the shanks come out of. Luckily the mine spawned next to us and the LFG dude went invis and managed to clutch diffuse it and fire the last two gjallahorns into Skolas to take him down after I got squished.

The poison buff is a royal pain in the ass when you actually want to be spread out in order to get to mines though.

Mwhaha tempting. Or I could do a 'vanilla bubble' without any bonus

lol yeah at the end there I knew I'd die but he was so low I just thought it was worth getting an extra shot or 2 in to help get him down so the other guy could finish up with the mines after we had diffused the first one.

can't imagine trying to diffuse 2 rounds of mines with Skolas still alive!! sod that. haha

i ended up doing VOG with randoms off reddit then doing the NF with 2 of them.

still no found verdict :mad:

it's really easy to do due to void and solar burn, the only thing you need to watch out for are the captains.

i just gjallahorned everything, captains the fallen walker and the boss at the end.

in between recharges i used heavy ammo pickups, 365 fatebringer and 365 praedyths revenge.

just do the NF with randoms off reddit fireteams, i only went on for an hour today. going to do POE 32, 34 and 35 tomorrow and then a crota raid (need HOC still).

keep me on your friends list and just jump into my party whenever i'm on and just ask what we are up to and what you need to do. usually 1 or 2 of us will help you out.

Lol! Nice mate! I'm going to be keeping slots free on all my characters now. Nice to see Bungie fixing but not fixing, great play testing chaps! :p

You about over the weekend mate? Still need to do the 32 and 24 on my hunter and wouldn't mind burning Skolas down a couple of times with the Gally-Burn either.
