HB is amazing, was tearing it up last night in ToO with it. Even got some triple kills. Also **** the lag is horrible in Iron Banner, just had a match against a team full red bar, they where teleporting all over the map nonstop, impossible to kill anyone but they just wrecked us, I died to shotguns when I couldn't actual see anyone near me, even after I died. Bungie needs to fix this, its really ruining the game for me right now.
 
In my not very long 28 hours of Crucible I've only had bad teleporting once or twice - though I've not played much IB so maybe it's mainly that? Due to the extra numbers looking for etheric light etc?
 
Its never been this bad, but this IB is the worst I've ever seen. Last night I was killed by heavy ammo, before the first heavy had even spawned, I didn't even see any damage, I just died all of a sudden and it showed heavy ammo, almost ever match I've been in the whole lobby is yellow/red bar.

The Crucible as a whole is a mess to be honest, weapons need a lot of work, not much selection in game modes, so many things are broken I've stabbed someone in the back and it didn't trigger backstab, i've stabbed someone infront at times and it triggers and so on. Then when you add lag its just horrible, don't know if I will get taken king if this doesn't fix up.

No one at bungie even seems to care too much, and if they do I'm not sure they would fix it properly, AR are basically useless everywhere in the game now due to a few of them being over powered in crucible.

There are a few more than that....

I agree the top player (either overall or just top of your team) should be guaranteed something like a mote of light or engram.

This IB does seem to be far worse than previous ones. It is almost like Bungie didn't expect the extra load on their servers. The first day could have been excused if it was the first time they were running IB but this is what the 5th or 6th time?

I'm down for vog and crota, still after the gally altho I probably won't get one lol. Hell I'd be happy with a fatebringer or a thorn :p
 
I'm going to be a bit late tonight guys as have dinner at the parents so prob won't be on until about 8.30ish. Not too fussed about Crota though so you could always 4/5 man that one! :D
 
yeah BTRD and ash factory are good too, so maybe 5 good weapons that can drop regularly and none of them are primaries.

i don't rate scout rifles at all especially legendary ones with no burn i would never use one in PVE or PVP. so i wouldn't say any that drop are any good. the only one I use regularly is VOC and that is in PVE only. If they buffed them then yeah they would be good in PVP but in their current state I don't rate them.

the biggest let down currently is lag. you can put 2 bursts of a pulse rifle into someones head and you know they should be dead but they aren't and you either need to keep shooting or wait for their end to catch up for them to die.

i love the engine and the mechanics but without dedicated servers it ruins everything i would say that is my biggest gripe with PVP.

Leaking over too trials aswell, emptied a clip of TLW into someone point blank, got a few 111's still alive, kills me then dies.

you must stay indoors on that map then to use TLW?

what is usually your strat? we try and go for a safe pick but it's really hard i find on this weeks map.

i don't really like close combat maps even though i play aggressive and push normally but in trials i play completely different (safer). which is why i don't like them for trials.

i run thorn as it seems to be the best all rounder with praedyths revenge/party crasher depending on whether i'm the sniper within the team or not.

grenades are very OP on this map too i find as it's close quarters inside.

See you lot around 8ish tonight, I may need to pop out around 9-ish for a few mins but not for too long...got to go and drop something off to my bro in laws place. Shouldnt be more than 10-15mins so we can all have a break if we are at a point where its possible to have one.

I'm normally the sniper, TLW is only if I have to rush in close to get someone. I got some really nice snipes, if I'm inside I either rush towards A, or try to pick off a few people from the bridge. If I'm outside I typically rush around to A. I would say 60% of my kills are snipes. I normally hope I'm against a team of shotgunners since I can just stay back and let them rush me, got a few triple kills that way. I'm still not as good as I am in normally matches, but I feel a lot of that is to do with teams. I'm going to focus on a lot more 3vs3 during the week so I can get the rushing in down, and I'm leveling up my lucky raspberry so I can be annoying with nades.

It has been tough, but mostly cause my normal team is all americans and there off playing with fireworks so I've been going to LFG to try find a team. I got 8-1 with 1 team so I'm happy for this week, I've gotten all the weapons now, but my only lighthouse visit I got a summoner which is trash (300~ for headshots in PVE).

Aggressive Ballistics, Hidden Hand, Small-Bore and I can't remember the third one. Might be rangefinder.

I have a perfect roll on mine and it's very good so long as you stay out of shotgun distance and don't run into TLW or rockets, etc.

I sharded my jolders hammer and wolves banes for the BTRD

Aggressive ballistics, Hidden hand, Small bore and then a toss between crowd control or range finder?

EDIT: Just seen your post PS, What do you mean sharded?
 
My main problem with Machine guns is firstly the game lags, so even thought it only takes 3 headshots from my current Jolders to kill someone I have to use 5,6,7 shots. 2nd they get completely wrecked by rockets and now with proximity its not even close, like outside of perfectly timing my blink its near impossible to dodge, I actual watched a rocket the other day in trials, and it curved down to explode on top of the guy in the other team, like it wasn't even close too him.
