Thanks to the IB chest my PVP setup is now complete. 100% Intellect, ~90% disc and a little strength. My button slip ascending the chest piece as soon as I got it from Salad man actually worked out well!

Ah I'm gonna skip this, been ill all weekend and not functioning 100%, struggled to make the 25 spread for the invective bounty! I'll be up for Tuesday evening PoE 34 to get some more gear ascended though, and start ToO next week.

You can be serious can you, firebolt is the best grenade I would say in the game for Crucible, not only does it have good damage it also burns, and has a good amount of range. Ram is amazing, you can have no armour and have the most health in the game like wtf. For super you don't have to use Fire born, you can really tear through people with Radiant Skin, that would personally be my go to super, self res seems silly too me and seldom works well. Void walkers are really good too, blink and Axion Bolt are great skills, their super could be useful for heavy rounds, or if you try to rush and see them grouped which again is easier with blink.

I think the best super is golden gun, and even then its not impossible to stop if your quick enough. Blade dance is really easy to drop unless they pop it close too you, Ive taken down a lot of blade dancers with TLW or a sniper if I'm feeling lucky. I personally use my blade dance much more defensively, or if I see a few of them grouped together.

Titans can be useful, Fist of Panic can basically stop any close super, and generally in trials people are not too far apart, its great for things like heavy round too if your fast enough. Bubble I think is stupid, every other super can basically wreck it, but I've faced a few people that spam bubbles so everyone else can get a super, it was a fun match when after round 2 they all had supers, but they where luckily horrible players.
 
I much prefer playing trials on my warlock for firebolt grenades alone, they are brilliant when setup with extended burning. Take a bit getting used to how close you need to land them next to people but when you get the throw perfect, they'll set the entire enemy team on fire. So much fun!

Having a self revive is also pretty handy from time to time!
 
Does that mean you will be on tonight for trials? I'm confused between your two posts above :p

If not; Astaley / meths - do you want another crack at Skolas? We had him so close three times and then something (or a combination of somethings) ****** us up!

Ah sorry, I won't be on tonight for trials. Will be on most of the day til about 6 though.

Still no joy with Skolas? Glad I got him down when it was still gjally burnable!

I'm on for Tuesday PoE still though...
 
Yeah Lightswitch and small arms are the modifiers this week. Anything and everything will one hit you unless you have an overshield. WE had nailed the taint and got the first set of mines down to a T. Went to burn him before the second set of mines and we had him so close before he teleported away into a spot we couldn't easily shoot him (this seemed to be the case for most of the fight funnily enough). The adds, not focusing on the taint and the second set of mines screwed us over.

Without small arms we would have had him as our special and heavy weapons would have done more damage.

I also had a slight issue with captains for want of a better word; lagging. When LS is on that doesn't make for a good recipe! :(

Playing trials with randoms sucks ass. If you can get in a group without a flawless emblem they are just ragers and definitely don't react well to a mere non-flawless player consistently outscoring them.
