That is true and not a bad idea. Though with Dredd around death by rocket does appear to be, statistically speaking, 792 times more likely than with anyone else :D

We are going to try for flawless raider on CE normal.

I've had to pull out too much recently so I'm out apart from my one nominated night a week :)

Speaking of which....

Monday 6:30pm Trials Of Osiris PS4
1) middgen
2) OweO
3) Greboth

6:30 ok with you Greboth? OweO and I can always limber up for a while before you join if it's too early.

Quite pleased with my steadily improving stats since I started making a concerted effort to improve my crucible play a few weeks back. Slowly adapting from full on aggressive control play to more conservative, stay alive trials style. My sniping has come along nicely too, getting the hang of my HB :)

Just checked my stats for crucible on destinytracker and although they were very poor, much as I expected, I rank in the top 1% for average kill distance. :)

I am usually on about 6:30-7 so shouldn't be too far behind you two. That does remind me though that I need to put some bounties into unlocking everything on my HB.

Interesting looking at my stats, my win loss is pretty good as it my ranking for zones captures and neutralised but my kdr isn't. I suspect if I let me zones ranking slip my kdr would be quite a bit better than it currently is.

Wasn't me that did it with you, other wise I would have been the one in front of Dredds when the rockets were fired :p Always seem to be me!

My points and kills is dropping as I play more and more defensive, instead of pushing for a kill before dying I now drop back when I'm hurt, use firebolt grenades to cover retreat and try and nab the kill if I damaged them.

Control is on the HoW maps this week so good practice on the new maps for trials, good for learning good sightlines for sniping.

Very happy with my Her Benevolence roll, Shortgaze, Hidden Hand, quick reload, and Unflinching. Unflinching is a godsend in control when there's more fire incoming. I'm running special weapon reload gloves so it reloads insanely fast too.

Sniping is just about staying cool and not snatching at shots, just slide the reticle across the head area and let aim assist do the rest.

6:30 is fine for me.

Having watched the Dream Team (Mr Fruit et al) getting absolutely slaughtered by TripleWreck it was quite eye opening how they play. Anytime they got slightly injured and couldn't ensure the kill they bolted. They bolted so fast that most of the time the attacker was left completely confused. They almost appeared to be everywhere and no where at the same time...

This has always been my problem TBH. My abilities are ok (I can hold my own at least) but I have a tendency to "go down fighting" rather than retreat, regroup and come back guns blazing.
 
Running is key, if you die your team is down 1. Also if your burning I run as fast as I can to die somewhere safe so my team can res me. Also saving your nades is great, I used to just spam them at the start but now I save them until I'm 100% sure it will hit someone, 1/2 shots and nade is almost always a kill, or nading someones body when they rush into res. Finally someone has to have a sniper, and some one has to have a shotgun, sniper ideal should kill through overshield as res killing is really useful.

@mid_gen I've found unflinching doesn't work at all, not sure if its just me, I have 2 snipers one with and one without and I've tried and it makes no difference.
 
Im gunna have another break from destiny now. Started to get really boring again.

Ill not sell it this time though as no doubt ill wanna play it again in a few months time.
 
i did flawless raider on CE on my first attempt with a random group off reddit fireteams so it's not that hard.

i think we had 2 hunters 1 of which was me who ran the abyss whilst the other 5 danced at the drop area.

then 4 titans (bubbles are your friend)

and the other hunter was swordbearer


try not dying at the start (dropping down from the top) i have heard this is due to max agility and running crap that makes agility +2 like mida multi tool or something when your dropping down.

having to do the bridge legit can be tricky if no one has done it before.

use bubbles on shrieker blasts and just stay back don't push forward until all enemies and shriekers are clear.

don't use rocket launchers if your near each other or at all tbh you don't need them in normal mode and have 1 or 2 people calling out boomers and bridge knights (they can be killed in easy mode) so you don't need bubbles on platforms or you could have someone blinding them (helm of saint 14).

use bubbles for the extra health though and remember the relic for health.

remember not to wipe where you normally would on hard (bridge/shriekers, witches).

you are so used to hard you forget your running normal. it's a lot easier than you think especially if you are all 34.

i was gonna mention that unflinching is poo i'd rather have something else

doh i keep thinking you were in on it with us :( any way you should get it this weekend. take you time forget about rockets till the end
 
Anyone on today about noon for some POE? 32, 34, 35 I don't mind.. got3 characters to pick from, all 34.

you on ps4 ??? have 3x 34s to do some time today, Turbo and the others normally run through them with me seeing as i cant get them done in the week due to work
