Yeah it doesn't boot you back to orbit anymore. It's SABER which I imagine would be pretty hard as nails to solo.

LOL. A team of three of us couldn't even get past the warsat bit on Heroic Vanguard yesterday. This is going to be rock solid.

Oh god, we tried the SABER one a few days ago with a random fireteam and we were all above the level suggested for it (heroic strike) and we didn't get past the war sat bit either. There are so many taken coming from everywhere and loads of hard ******* as well as the ones that blind you. We gave up after about 8 attempts.

Lol just lol, now that's what I call dedication ie taking the Xbox with u on a business trip .

biggest problem with the heroic strikes is not having enough decent gear. Once you get good gear it gets so much easier.

Or just get a decent fireteam together and you should be good to go. I did it last night with danclivo and it took us a few attempts the saber heroic strike but we got through it. Then as part of my quest I had to do another 4, 3 were pretty easy but the final one...undying mind was a pain and I mean a huge pain in the ass to do. Wiped at least 5 times before we got him.

But yes better gear makes it easier, I tried the heroic strike questline and I was 265 light but last night got to 280 and found it was working much better.

Is this the first raid for everyone apart from Apatia btw? If we get two groups together and some have had a go already it would make sense to re-arrange the groups a little to avoid spoilers.

Taken, although to be fair the guy I was playing with more or less solo'd the warsat with a sword cause I was dead most of the time.

I just found the Taken Captains with those bubbles impossible. My screen was black 75% of the time.

They didn't bother me - I just kept getting one shotted by the dropships.

Looks like the 2 raid teams are full on PS4 =( Me and Corey are available if anybody drops out, we're both at 293 light. I think Moe (Fallen God on here) wants to raid as well but he's on a little bit later at 9, could be possibly form a 3rd raid team? If not, me and Corey are available anytime after 6 if anybody drops out from either of the first 2 groups.

Tbf, Jay was carrying me whilst I was poncing around getting mullered in the middle by Warpriest et al!

I'll be around. Might try to smash a quick NF beforehand? (I can show you guys where the ghosts are in SABER, too )

Looks like I'm going to be in Coventry for most of next week as well now

As I'm setting up another office again next month in Peterborough I think I'm going to be bringing my PC monitor and investing in a headset for my xbox! Anyone recommend a decent, reasonably priced one?

Turtle beach fulfill the reasonably priced criteria.

Didn't think much to the pair I owned, didn't feel very high quality. Completely the opposite to how my Astros feel.

4 years on or something ridiculous and my astros still sound great and cosmetically still in great condition. Everything still all nice and tight.

Yeah it's cool I was just checking if we had a split of 'experienced' and blind raiders we could split groups so the experienced guys could crack on ahead. Seems we are mostly in the headless chicken category

I'm sure we will have a democratic process in place if we get fed up and all decide to ask you for pointers
