Meths helped us out after raid group 2 were done for the night but I think he said he couldn't help for the rest of the week. Unless it was someone else on chat and I'm mistaken, sorry I'm really tired lol =) We have room for a 6th if anyone wants it.

Try again Wednesday/Thursday night?
 
No, you're right, I'll not get another early gaming session in this week but if anyone sees me on and you need a player then give me a shout. I'll also pop into the party to see what's happening if you're raiding with a man short.

Thursday from ~8pm
Friday I can't do

Not sure what time I will be on tonight, probably gone 9pm. So if the majority want to run tonight then no problem if you replace me. Otherwise I can make Thursday from 8:30pm.

And to those on the raid last night, thanks for a fun evening.

Not going to be able to make it again until next week, used my man-time credits back in London catching the RWC last weekend :). Could do Monday but think I'd rather have another full run through again Tuesday after reset for the loots, I'm sure it won't take us nearly as long second time round to get to the second boss.

You guys crack on with the rest of it....I don't mind if I'm not going in blind next week :)

Think we have that Warpriest fight down now, pretty similar to Atheon really. Do the plates in order, stand by the relic holder, pop WOL behind so people can dip in and out, batter boss, profit.

Very impressed with the raid so far :)

I like the flow of it. Fairly straightforward first section. Then the easy platforming section, then the epic ship jumping platformer (which would be horrible if not for the platform CP halfway across), then the more complex relic section which introduces the handing off of buff mechanic you need for Warpriest. Very slick.
 
We may need to co-ordinate the groups again, it looks like we have 1 or 2 missing from each one. I had a lot of fun last night, few things were said during the platforming section that I'm still laughing about today:

AStaley - Why would all these ships be going in the directions that they are? It doesn't even make sense. There must be woman drivers in them.

I think the postmaster must have lost my loot as I just had a couple fo blue engrams waiting. :confused:

As for Golgoroth:

I had a look online once we'd finished and it seems we weren't doing anything wrong when his back closed up to stop us from attracting his gaze.

When that happens, once the current gaze timer runs out for whoever has it it will say something like "you have failed to attract his gaze" and adds will spawn so the guys in the pit will have to get out and reform teams of three to get back to the sides to deal with them.

Not sure if the add spawn is based on a timer or on his health level though.

Bit of a long shot this one but as I've got tomorrow off work to take my daughter to school...

I took a look for Golgoroth as well and we had the right strategy except 2 minor alterations:

1: 2 dedicated gaze runners as we already had, the 2nd runner who doesn't have his gaze should clear adds and let the 4 guys in the puddle go for pure DPS. As long as he is constantly being hit, his back will stay exposed. As long as the gaze is constantly being passed in a timely manner, constant DPS on stomach and the other gaze runner is clearing adds. It looks like a straight forward fight.

2: Just my own observation really going off hindsight but we should really be using machine guns/sniper rifles to dps him. My machine gun is only 280 but I get the feeling it will do a hell of a lot more damage than my rocket launcher.

He's a real bullet sponge, 13 million health or something like that. He does have an enrage timer as well, if the 2nd gaze runner gets time after clearing adds to do some dps before moving around to take his gaze that also seems to help.
 
I've had two 300 + defnse ghosts but no weapons or armor. Both from the chest at the "activate the glyph" section prior to the war priest.

Our group has seen boots drop at golgoroth and weapons at the war priest. Not got further than golgoroth yet.
 
I got the Kingslayer Shell and I believe someone else did, I think one or two got Defiance of Yasmin as well (the sniper). Pretty happy with the shell, looks really nice. We're currently at Golgoroth, we had the right strat but everybody was very tired at that point. Should be able to drop him when everybody is fresh again.

Thursday from 9pm again is good for me.
