*** Destiny Raid & PvP discussion thread ***

Something stupid like having to use all 6 bubbles of reclaimed light to create an explosion like in the Oryx fight on Golgoroth wouldn't surprise me.
 
So are we still set for Saturday?

Yeah, I am still up for this. I am only 304 but hopefully my luck can change with engram from Xur and some ToC farming will see me to 305/306.

Should have my titan back to 306...stupidly switched faction and didn't realise it unequipped my exotic faction item :/

Definitely free tomorrow now so anyone interested in raiding around 1pm onwards? Probably nip through normal mode.

Pigtails is 306 so should be good to go. Only have 297 boots so they are holding her back from being 307. New levelling system means every light level (301-302-303 etc) is a small damage penalty. Level alone is a rough 5% per level penalty. Thus a 305 guardian will have a rough 10-15% damage penalty on a level 41 light 310 enemy.
 
1 hour 17 minutes apparently for the world's first on hard mode, a lot of people seem disappointed in what they've seen. Will have to see tomorrow night I guess.

I was actual early last raid, so 100% sure it won't happen twice in a row.
 
Well another good attempt tonight. Finally managed to get to the death singers in a decent time. Just struggled with the mechanics a little bit. At least we are improving week on week.

A little bit more coordination and we would have got there a bit faster.

Hopefully we can get it finished off on Monday. Time to read up on oryx and get the mechanics of that sorted before we continue.
