*** Destiny Raid & PvP discussion thread ***

The100 is good, just make sure you read/post what kind of raid you want to do. If you just want to blitz through then ask for experienced guys for a quick run. If its not specified there'll often be a new guy or two and it might take a while.

That's what's great about the100, mostly older players who are sound and patient and willing to help guys through....but if you've not got a lot of time, make sure you specify.

It has a rep system, so you can tell up front how nice the players are gonna be. Make sure you dish out karma to the nice guys (and gals, only place I've come across em in random groups!)

Raid was good to me today, finally got the helmet, in fact normal and hard mode helmets dropped :) Realised later I got a 319 ghost too so I've hit 317...not bad considering I'd done up to daughters already. Bring on the golgorotb challenge!
 
I really need to get round to finishing off the raid on HM. Have ran it a few times but only managed to get up to oryx but never could get him down although have been close to doing it.

I'm at 312 but haven't really bothered to do a full raid, will have to try and get a few games in on the weekend. Probably do a normal and hard if I can.

If you have a spot open feel free to give me a shout. I don't have a raid planned this evening and always happy to help out with raids. Would love to try and finish another hard mode raid.

Yeah HM will drop NM loot too. We did a HM run on Tuesday with 3 x Warpriest challenges (swapping out characters). The loot was pretty nuts! On one run I got a 320 HMG, 320 RL, 319 RL, 310 Sniper, 310 RL, 320 artifact, 310 artifact! Considering we didn't have to do anything different from our usual strat its pretty crazy.

Oryx has been giving out primaries like there's no tomorrow for me recently too so Rogue and Jelly you should get some tasty lootage tonight! :D

I am praying that rng finally gives me some boots and a titan mark that is higher than 306. every hm raid I have attempted so far rng seems to give me guantlets and ghost shells.

Well if I could just get oryx down for once, I'd be happy lol. Have nailed him quite a few times on normal mode but never on hard mode. Seem to get close but we just miss out.

I have a raid planned at 930 tonight with some guys off 100. Managed to find a game where majority of them are 315+ so hopefully should get him down tonight. Not a full raid but an oryx cp so have joined that although if I get an invite for a full run then I'll join that instead.

Jelly if u need me then just shout me an invite, I'll be on at 8pm-ish ie my regular time.

Requested to join the OCUK bungie clan. I'll probably be on after 8/9 and could do with a HM raid or any checkpoints after WarPriest.
