I've done the boss 5 times now, but I've never been the one holding the relic, but I know basically how everything works so I can have a go if no-one else wants it.
I did the relic at Atheon stage when I was playing with LFG group. I was scared at first, but I had a good idea, good time to practice too. Essentially the only area I have issue is in Venus, but the lot I went with chucks a sun grenade and another a void grenade down the middle, makes it a lot easier for when I relic bash/smash the minions.
It's not that hard, just beware of Pretorian melee and the Snipers charging for shot (side step)
Didn't get to hold the relic in the templar stage as they decided to cheese it off the edge whilst we all hid bottom of the steps, grenading and rocket launchering.

defender titan lvl 28 can i join?
Rated 26 is suppose to be the bare minimum you should be before you attempt it. Level 26 also means you must have a gun that can easily deal with addies ranked 26 in hordes.
Something that's quite misleading and caught my missus off guard as she's level 26, but her gun sucks, going on raid solo to test the water, she was basically watering the scenery on the first challenge.
Uberginge I'm guessing you can't make the Hard Raid then this Friday? Most people were happier swapping off the weekend I'm afraid.
Let me know as Ill sort out a replacement

Mines a Hard Raid and expectation is to keep the same people week in, week out (still interested in reserves). I am considering doing a second one on another day - just waiting for a critical mass of 29/30s asking to join our thing...

Can I run with Uber too on this weeks normal - if I make a run this Friday with him and the experienced team, I can help lead a separate regular team every week after that with what I have learned as long as they don't mind talking me through. I've seen some excellent strategies recently, especially on Oracles/Templar.
I'd also like a run through on hard ones in future please ps3udo if you want a regular body in one, pending confirmation of time and day

One problem I've seen is people come off a Normal raid as a 29 into Hard and just don't realise that they are effectively under levelled and just can't cope with not being revivable/taking more damage/doing less damage - noticed a similar thing with my main raid group when they move to their alts after being Sunsingers and not realising how much of a crux Fireborn is...
Got to doth my cap to high level hunters its really a hard class to master/enjoy when it comes to raiding!

Fair dos. I can still continue to find the occasional hard cheese on destinylfg for the rewards, or at least until they patch it
I'd like to really understand the mechanics more in normal before being confident enough to instruct the team.
Sensible solution then. I'll move my normal raid to 9:00 PM if that works for everyone in my group? ps3ud0 that means I may have to duck out if it gets close to that time with no completion though.
Assuming this becomes a regular thing and we get good at it, all future normal runs from me will be 9:00 PM on a Friday night. Does this work for everyone?
