Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (Square Enix Reveal new Deus Ex)

Sod it I am going to wait for the GOTY from a read around it looks like it could do with a fair bit of bug fixing.
For £9.99 in your position I would pick it up now. The DLC is not exactly must play. Even if you wait for GOTY, it will be priced at least double that and I really doubt they will be spending any more time fixing anything by the sounds of it. Most bugs are fixed now and my last playthrough I had zero issues personally.

Should be able to max it out but I'd probably still recommend turning 1-2 settings down unless they've fixed them like contact hardening shadows which look an ugly mess in smaller spaces.

Yeah, game looks good here too and running well very nearly max everything.

It feels pretty much like HR so far, which is ok too - even if I've not got very far yet.

Although, I do seem to be spending 90% of my time hacking my way in people's apartments, stealing their booze and moving their fridges. I guess it will become clear in time how this will lead to me saving the world... :)

Still need to complete this sometime :s compared to the older games I just don't find the mechanics and UI, etc. satisfying and get in the way of playing.

Oh yeah, also having a few crashes I meant to say. Played 6 hours over the past four or five days and had two hard lock-ups which needed a forced reset, one soft lock-up that I could ctrl-alt-del out of, and one "DEX has stopped working" CTD.

It runs great when it's running, but it does seem a lot more crashy than anything else I've played for a long while.

Yeah i got a game breaking black even crash when completing the
heist level, so I had to do the bomb maker quest instead
. <later level. had to backtrack a little.

One other thing I'd noticed in this game too: it seems rather easier to stealth through than in previous games and it's possible (even preferable) to rely almost wholly on augs and cover for stealth rather than weapons.

I don't think I tried a full stealth run of the first DX, despite playing through the whole game three or four times. As I remember it, though, it would have been very difficult in places.

In HR, I did a Foxiest of the Hounds + Clean Hands playthrough but used my non-lethal weaponry quite extensively.

In MD, I'm now nearing the end of Golem City and (apart from the tutorial, when I didn't even realise which augs I had) I think I've fired my tranq rifle twice and my stun gun once. Other than that it's been all augs and takedowns - and it hasn't felt that tricky to get through it this way. I kind of like it, but it does make me wonder why I'm lugging around all this weaponry and ammo...

I am at the end of a pretty realistic stealthy run, playing mostly as I felt realistically (killing as less people as possible and generally only with a silenced hidden pistol), and enjoyed it. I have picked up and used weapons in places when needed though. One part was a fun sniper-fest :D

I seem to find performance all over the place.

I'm not quite sure what to leave on or turn off. What do you make of these settings?
