Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (Square Enix Reveal new Deus Ex)

Has anyone checked the pre-load file size? it says 19.9GB for me but the actual game has been reported to be twice that.

You seem to be confused between download size and installed size. Once the game is unpacked and installed it will be twice that ;)

Im not saying its bad to ask questions,of course no,problem is Hitman engine, its quite demanding, still remember that horror when tried Hitman alpha :D

Haven't seen the Anti Pre-Order brigade in here yet, am I clear to purchase this ?

:D
Now when you mention that.... :D

I think i forget about this thread until end of next week-dont want any spoilers (didnt watch any streams, nothing)
See you next week Jensen's :D

This is going to be a hard game to run maxed with 4xMSAA, be ready, you read it here first.
Edit: Brings a 970 o/c system to it's knees @1440p high and medium settings.

I agree, people have short memories and have completely forgotten about games like Crysis that were unplayable on max settings. They would have moved within freesync/gsync range at 1440p, it's utterly pointless to do that at 1080p.

I will no doubt play it on high (1440), then maybe on a second play through a lot later I'll be able to use DX12 and optimised drivers for ultra!

Crysis was ahead of it's time. It raised the bar from a graphical standpoint. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is not a pioneer by any stretch of the imagination! It's a glorified console port, nothing more.

It seems it will not unlock until Tuesday 6pm. So I will just to a VPN trick Tuesday morning :D

Haha I'm amazed that you were expecting this game to be 50+ hours TNA, for me at least none of the other DE games have run much past 30 hours, and that's with taking my time! We all play differently though I suppose, some people put 300+ hours into one playthrough of Witcher 3 (without the DLC) and I did almost everything in 80 and didn't feel like I rushed at all!

For me 25-30 hours at a leisurely pace is a more than acceptable length.

I got my code from cdkeys yesterday and I'm all preloaded. Excited!

You know, I get the feeling it will take me 40+ hour's to complete this one too. I hack everything there is to hack, go through all vents and find all secret locations. Not to mention I usually save, then mess around punching people just to see the reaction/animation, then reload the save before I messed around. lol.

I only do this with a few games that I really like mind. Other games I complete in the normal time usually. Rise of the Tomb Raider only lasted me 12-13 for the first playthrough and that was with some exploring and doing side missions in there..

6pm evening unlock is the most annoying i must say
TNA post if i vpn works,im deffo up to this as well :p

Will do Mario ;)

Ah you see Rise of the Tomb Raider took me just over 20 hours, all depends on the game as well it seems! I never really reload saves or experiment like you say above, not on my first playthrough anyway. I tend to just play as organically as possible in games like this. Sort of stealth build but if I get caught out, I don't reload, I continue and play reactively - makes the game more fluid for me.

8x MSAA though, that alone is super demanding. Would have been nice if he just used normal settings. 4x max

I don't know if there's even an SLi profile for it either. So the second one might have done nothing and even lowered performance a little.

If I can get high settings, 1440p at 60fps in DX12 I will be happy. Obviously anything above that is welcome too.
