Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (Square Enix Reveal new Deus Ex)

Just bought a 4x scope, but pressing 'Y' I can't seem to fit it to anything. Does anyone know what's going on there?

Edit:

Forget that, I've just figured it out. Apparently you open the inventory screen, click the part, then 'Combine', then click the weapon.

Is anyone else experiencing a delay in opening the menus? Although not evidenced when I first start playing, the time it takes me to access the pause menu (for example) increases the longer I play.

I pressed escape during a cut scene to check on something and now text that was on screen prompting me to do something is stuck! I saved the game, went off for dinner and came back, loaded the game back up and it just will not go away.

Ideas? I changed resolution down and back up hoping some sort of display refresh would fix it but nope.

I had exactly the same happen to me but with the inventory menu, spoke to a random npc and it went away???.

Can someone clarify about the bonus praxis kits?

I currently have 3 from completing Deus Ex: Go which state that they are consumable and tied to my save, blah blah blah

But what about the 4/5 that you get as a bonus for ordering the Digital Deluxe with the season pass?

After
Your augs get reset by the guy in the bookstore
I had 12 Praxis points to spend.

Is that what everyone had?

Tried to explain the premise of the game to my wonderful girlfriend. Despite being a lovely person (and major bible basher), she couldn't find an ounce of compassion for me being an Aug, yet fighting my own kind (thus far). She called me a nerd. :(

I think there's a lot of socially relevent discourse in this game, and I spend most of my time trying to avoid killing people. In HR, I didn't have that issue. I had one play-through where I killed everyone, then the second playthrough I tried to 'Ghost'. Trying the same path so far, but morality is hindering me. Fair play; good game design.

I have one major fault atm; not sure if anyone else is experiencing it. When I save in cover I press 'space' to resume, and then I vault/dash out of cover. So I have to be really careful where I save.

Another minor point, when you save you're given 'Ok' and 'Cancel' buttons. The 'Enter' key hits 'Ok', but it'd be awesome if 'E' hit 'Ok'. My finger is on it most of the time already!

This has been happening to me. I'm currently testing out Very High textures instead of Ultra in case that's the reason why. I have been having few stutters and freezes on my 980ti, not been monitoring VRAM usage, but from the quality of the textures I'm assuming it's going to be pretty high. Or this could be something more like a memory leak which will suck.

My steam clock shows 13 hours now and I still have so much to explore in Prague. Love finding all the hidden stuff :D

Was funny when I hit a punch bag and a hidden door opened. lol.

might be the CPU, it's old. A 2500k @ 4.6 under water

Won't be your CPU, that CPU may be old, but still good enough for most games if not all at that OC. Benchmarks show the game does not require that much CPU.

Now you are making me want to go back there! :p Do you mean the floor panel? As that one was easy to find. lol.

Also I am enjoying hacking. It is like I could avoid the door and get it though another route, but then I would miss out on the xp. lol :p

The game so far me has been great, just been exploring and very much of the opinion this is a hybrid between the original DE and HR in terms of game play.

However there are bugs that are just a little bit irritating - on screen prompts that get stuck, issues with menus taking ages to open, and a weird lighting issue where the screen goes dark and I can barely see anything but move the view slightly and it returns to normal.

My GTX 970 @ 1400 with i72700k @4.3

this was ingame bench in all different cities for about 30 mins. also all the load screens are limited to 30fps. FOV was set to 85

Not had to many issues so far one crash and seeing 7.2GB of V-Ram usage. It runs very well for me at 1440p single 1070. It looks and runs noticeably better that the PS4 version so a decent port on this one.

I'm a bit stuck on a side mission but think I need to have a higher hacking level to continue as cannot find any other way in.

I think it's a wonderful game and I have spent hours just exploring it really makes you want to go everywhere and see what could be hidden. I'm still a bit confused with the aug's and spent my points adding back in a few but not sure if I should have saved some or not now. The menu system can be a bit confusing and my inventory is always full and I'm not sure what I should be keeping.

Did an FPS test last night. 2560x1440, max settings but with MSAA turned off, I average about 50fps. I see better performance in TW3 and GTA v, but at least it's very much playable.
