Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (Square Enix Reveal new Deus Ex)

Has the game somehow detected your refresh rate as 24hz?

No, rather embarrassingly the problem was completely of my own doing. When I went into the driver settings the GPU clock was set at -47%. I reset the settings and rebooted, ran the benchmark again - same 24 FPS on High settings. Went back into the driver settings and the GPU clock was set at -47% again so resetting to that every time the system started up. So then checked MSI Afterburner and I somehow saved a profile with the GPU clock set to minimum and set to be applied on start up! I must have thought I was putting it back to normal when I was messing around with overclocking a while back.

Problem now solved getting 45 FPS on High setting plus a few extras on Mankind Divided. Happy and relieved. Now I can actually enjoy playing the game instead of being peed off!

Apparently in 2029 Human Revolution still very popular :D

Is it me or is the game a lot more complex in terms of menus, items and options, etc. than the previous ones? I'm finding I'm too distracted by other stuff IRL at the moment to get my head into it all right now so end up stopping playing before I get very far.

Bang on 2hrs in and i love it all ready :) No crashes etc, only issue i get is when i load a menu up e.g. inventory i get a 1min delay and fps drops down to single figures but it quickly recovers.

Over all though im pleased how my 960 is running with it, i seem to average 42fps on high which is more than playable :)

Oh no.

Walked into the base of operations for TF29... my 'hack everything in sight!' OCD kicked in.

A few gas grenades will solve that. Leave one person awake, trapped in a room with a photocopier in the door. When done, remove copier and they will revive everyone. Problem solved!

So is this worth picking up?

Despite the small flaws(on the majority) I'd say it's well worth it. I've binged it today hardly through the story at all as there's so many side quests to keep you occupied.

I love it despite its flaws(some of which are most likely my system).
