Dexter

theres 3 more, also, didnt know dexter was married to deb in real life, theyve divorced and dont get a long on screenso i ve heard debs being written off before this season ends.

I can;t help but want Deb to find out about Dexter.
I also kinda feel a little let down by the fact that Deb's ex (cant remember his name of the top off my head - the good looking young detective) kinda just let his gut feel about Dexter go.

All in all, really good season this one, loving it

Thats the thing :/ In the books Deb found out about dexter on season 1, around the time their boss got killed :p

Dammit, I twigged on to the twist halfway through the episode, so I was really hoping I could come on here and be all "Hey guys I reckon Bruce Willis is a ghost " and look all smug when it came true.

Spoiler about the latest episode

Don't spoil it for the people who haven;t seen it you *****. Saying " there's a twist" is near enough just as much a spoiler as saying the professor has been dead all along. That said, I did see the one coming where the computer game programmer bought the ice truck killer ptosthetic arm thing

You do realise even though spoiler tags work in the forum post, they still show your entire message in the email reminders :p

I suspected the twist a good few eps ago. And even with the knowing suspiscion, that still threw me. Damn, Dexter is back on form again.

Still really bummed about them just dropping the whole arthur mitchel / kyle butler storyline - or have theyy ?

I like it! Question everything. I think maybe not this series but another series we will see Kyle again.

Dexter kills Deb, calling it! Sorry, this was random.

One of the only things that winds me up is that dexter is extremely clever and is also very good at seeing things ahead and counteracting them but will then do something VERY silly indeed...

The main bit that got on my nerves was when travis was knocked out and dexter found the steps to the cellar. There was noway that he could have gone down there and put the table leg over the trap door so it had to be Travis!

Indeed lol I was thinking that the whole time!

Like why on earth are you looking for someone down there when its impos to go there alone! *headdesk

Tbh I think this is going off the boil, or I'm getting bored of it. It doesn't grip me nearly as much as it used too. Sometimes it feels too formulaic, too soap-opera almost.

I've been watching it since season 1, and the best episodes were always when you were on the edge of your seat worrying he'd get caught by the police or someone important would find out. These days, it seems like he can do anything and get away with it.

The main thing that really annoyed me was the end of the season with that guy who was slicing off peoples skin. At the end where he dropped the body on the police car. They zoomed in to dexters arm bleeding and dropping a drop of his blood at the crime scene. It really annoyed me that nothing more came of that tbh.

Two things really.

1) People on these forums are getting on my ***s now with spoilers in no spoiler tags and talking about episodes that have been aired in the US less than a day ago!

2) Funny how everyone "called" the EP9 "twist", yet no mention of it in this thread at all. Good work.

anyone else saw the dead sister coming a mile away?

That's a pretty good example. Given that the show hasn't even aired yet in the UK and that is a good give away of information.

It's not just this thread, it happens in other US shows airing recently. Walking Dead thread as another example. People can't help themselves give away information from an episode they downloaded and don't realise that others will either wait for UK release or might not watch it THAT same night.

It's not necessarily plot spoilers, such as the one that could be given from this week. But I'm sure we aren't really meant to promote discussion of episodes that haven't aired in the UK yet - unless that's all changed???
