**DGM 27" LED IPS 2560x1440 ONLY £319.99 Inc. VAT (PRE-ORDER PRICE ONLY)!!**

Just got mine, impressed with the panel. Besides being huge the resolution and colour is fantastic, going from a cheap 23" IPS the difference is night and day.
As mentioned by a few people my monitor is sagging forward on the stand as well but it's not that much of an issue for me. The main problem is the BIOS issue, only tried it in one of the DVI ports on my 6950 thus far but no BIOS here either.

Just set mine up, arrived today and have the following observations;

1.) The stand is nice and stiff and is staying up right and wouldn't move without quite a lot of force. So that's good after some of the other stories I have heard

2.) Using DL-DVI-D from my old 4850 Bios is working on both cold starts and reboots

3.) Screen is very sharp and vibrant, moving from my 20" NEC 20WGX

4.) I have a few stuck pixels which are pretty much only viewable on a black screen and show as green. One is fairly obvious and the others are tiny. They are all down the very right hand edge so not in main viewing space which is nice. And tbh I had to really look close for them, don't think I will be sending it back because of that, what are the chances on them coming back to life running an app changing colours over them? Zero?

5.) Great price for a monitor which perhaps doesn't look fantastic but initial impressions are nothing but good (other than the stuck pixels)

Purchased one on Monday morning and it arrived first thing on Tuesday morning.

However the ac adapter was dead on arrival so I have done the RMA web form to OCUK and hope it gets sorted out soon. Am looking forward to get it working :)

Did a little testing with mine last night on 3 other different machines. 2500k setup with an Ati 5850 Gpu the post screen shows to get into Bios. Bulldozer setup with a 6770 Gpu, post screen shows to get into Bios. Htcp setup! i3 2100 with a GTX 550ti, post screen doesn't show, and last of all! a 2600k setup with either my Nvidia 690 or a Msi 7970 Lightning the post screen doesn't show. So it seems to be luck of the draw in the hardware your using whether or not your going to see the post screen showing on boot up.

Just bought a Mini DP to DP cable as recommended to try and it's made it worse, now when booting the computer up I get the splash screen but no desktop.

Displayport is quite picky about cable quality and length, above 1920x1080@60Hz you pretty much need a 1.8m long DP cable max to guarantee it will show a screen at the proper res/refresh rate. I've also found that the odd driver version from both nVidia and AMD will not work above 1920x1080@60Hz in displayport whatever you do unless the cable is 1m long max but this is a specific driver problem rather than the normal limits of displayport (which are quite sensitive). Theoretically 2560x1440@60Hz should work on a good quality 3m long cable but it will depend a lot on the quality and guage of the specific cable used.

The one I bought is just a cheap one made by StarTech 1.8m in lengh to test. Was going to get the 1m one but it wouldn't of been long enough. Tried it at both those resolutions and no go.

Came across this thread and now I'm considering the DGM! However, there isn't many comments about this monitor when used for photo editing - Lightroom & Photoshop. Anyone care to comment on the accuracy of colours after calibration...and just how good/bad it is for primarily editing?

Had mnine since ocuk got these in, the stand became worse, and wouldnt hold the monitor level, so i got a desk vesa mount off the bay for £29, lot better now:

Looks lovely mounted on that desk mount. I too will be putting some tape over the power LED as it's a bit bright!
On the bright side, BIOS is now working with my 6950s, changed nothing but it works now.

Yes its transformed it, the stand was terrible , cant beat a bit of tape over logo and blue led.

Great monitor though.

I got this monitor this week and so far I am very impressed.

Bios displays using hdmi but that restricts the resolution so running of dvi atm.

I have an issue where I am trying to connect an old Dell 22" monitor but it won't let me save the display changes. This is connected by VGA into the motherboard. Is it because the resolutions will be so different?

Edit - it appears my motherboard has only VGA and DVI-D ports and the old dell is DVI. Is it worth getting a DVI-D to DVI cable in case it is just the VGA port that won't pick it up?

Hi guys, just ordered 2 of these and will get them on tuesday i assume.

Just wanted to know if there a profile or something I can load up for the optimal settings? Im not great at balancing the monitor for the best quality so was hoping for an easy method?

Also, i want to get a 3rd at xmas if i get on with these 2, any recommendations on a cheapish 3 monitor vesa mount that will hold them and reduce amount of space they take up?

Side note i had from my old thread i couldnt find a response to, anyone tried these with an xbox 360 or ps3?

Thanks guys!

After deliberating for over a week on a new monitor, I've taken a chance on this one! Coming from a 19" Hannspree monitor, so hopefully, it should be a big jump! Just hoping it's good enough for editing in Lightroom and Photoshop.

Actually ended up changing my mind! Gone with a Dell U2412m and I'm gonna see if the 24" is big enough! May end up returning it if I change my mind...again! :D

hey guys

thought i would add another image, got mine today and love them.

Any tips on setup or profile for the nvidia settings?

They are destroying my eyes with brightness at the moment...

Got to tft central, set the RGB, brightness and contrast to his settings and download the icc profile, install in windows and it's 100% better.

Monitor OSD Option
Calibrated Settings

Brightness
55

Contrast
60

RGB Channels
100, 85, 75

Color Temperature
User

ECO Preset mode
Standard

Not as good as calibrating it yourself but miles better than out of the box.

thanks ive entered those settings on the screen and got the profile, do i just need to dial in those settings in the screen and double click the icc profile? of it there a proper way of installing the profile?

does just double clicking it permanently apply it to both screens?

Thanks!

Yeah set the screen the same as his settings.

Might work just be clicking on it but I followed his instructions on his site....

As for two screens I think you may have to go as per the instructions and select each screen in turn as in theory you could have two totally different screens connected to your pc or even the same screen could require two slightly different profiles once they were calibrated.
