Sorry to hear that :(

My double launch day purchase still going strong.... great monitors :)

All is good except for the fact my power brick is making a constant high pitch noise. Does any one know where I can buy a more reliable replacement brick?
+1

Bought mine at the end of June. I decided to wait until September before posting my review on the OcUK product page in case it went the same way as my Hazro. In the review, I vowed never to go back to my old Hanns G HZ281 unless the DGM died. I am writing this on my trusty old Hanns G.
Cheap IPS monitors may come and go but this TN panel never lets me down.

My DGM is dead and the power brick is making a weird ticking/high pitch noise.
I know it's under warranty and OcUK will replace the brick but if anyone knows where I can pick up a spare then that would be great.

been looking through the thread into the non bios screen solution and found none is this the case?

i have 2 x referance GTX470's connecting to the screen with dual DVI-D cable,

i need the bios screen regular, and this is a pain, any solutions guys?

Read the review on tftcentral and am just a little worried about games on this? Was thinking of picking one up to replace my dual monitors (dell 2209wa) screens which have been fine responsiveness wise for games.

Anyone played some fps games on this and gotten on okay or is the lag a real issue? I am tempted to just get it anyway as i rarely play fps anymore but how are you finding it?

If there is any input lag, I've never noticed any and I've had it since just after launch; although I don't play that many fps. :)

As someone also mentioned earlier; my power brick also went bang but I dealt with DGM direct and had the replacement within a week.

Couldn't make it over to OCUK early this morning so have gone with one at £299 instead which hopefully is still a great deal. I'm also thinking about mounting it on my wall, any opinions of good vesa mounts to look at?

out of curiosity, how much was during the morning of the 10th Nov?
I'm rather impressed how fluctuating the price is.. from £319 at the start, £380 not so long ago, and now £300

no input lag at all compared to my Dells, one issue i am having is SLI stuttering in full screen in all games,

i just cant get rid of it, tried differant cables, Bridges, settings, everything really,

all is fine in single card mode, i didnt have this issue on the dells, with exact same settings :(

there could be an explanation for that, but I'm not entirely sure I am correct.
So when playing with single card the input lag is just below the line of where your eyes start to see lag. I imagine SLI does introduce some kinda of lag (not sure on this point) which add up to the point where your eyes can see it.

They were on offer for those making it to the store opening at £199.99.

There was limited stock at that price but due to an error more were sold in the shop at £199.99.

The £299.99 price is also a special offer for those who couldn't make it to the shop.

The normal price will return tomorrow.

I love errors! I was quite prepared to buy it at £299 yesterday but wasn't going to complain when the till brought up £199 and nobody could change it so the price stood! :D

Just set mine up using the supplied DVI cable and connected to the Dual-Link DVI-I of the Sapphire 7970 and now in 2560x1440. W8 got in a bit of a tis at first as I think a separate process installed the driver in the background at the same time as Windows Update offering to do the job too. I'm using an MSI Z77A-GD65 and no problems getting into the BIOS. Could do with some calibration software to make a few adjustments, its quite vivid upon first set up and a little warmer, yellow to the far right and lower right when the screen is trying to show white. Don't notice the reflection too much unless showing dark scenes. I had a Dell U2311H before this and would say the PQ was on a par or maybe a little better but it may be because this is set slightly brighter at the moment.

I went to tftcentral's website and set the brightness/contrast/RGB levels as per hsi calibrated one and then downloaded the color profile (icc) and installed it in windows.

Ran through some monitor testing website and I must admit that its seems pretty right now. Right numbers of colour bands and brightness/gamma levels.

Of course a proper calibrating tool with get it closer as every monitor will be slightly different but it's a massive improvement from how it came out of the box.

Bought one of these over the weekend and mine too doesn't show the post screen to get into the bios on boot up which is doing my nut in. Iv'e tried it with a 690 nvidia card and a 7970 AMD card. Does connecting it via a displayport lead cure this? Somtimes with my 690, I dont get a display screen at all, and have to plug out the supplied Dvi lead and re-connect and then it will show a display again.

Apparently a DP cable can fix this, although even when the boot up screen doesn't show (like mine) I can still get into the bios by hitting delete and the bios always shows. :)
