**DGM 27" LED IPS 2560x1440 ONLY £319.99 Inc. VAT (PRE-ORDER PRICE ONLY)!!**

I've got two of these. The power brick on my 17 month old one became faulty yesterday and caused a dodgy image on the screen.

I'd have no idea it was the power brick if I didn't have a spare monitor to test it on as it was the panel that was all messed up.

I raised a ticket with OcUK and they said the fastest way to get it replaced would be to contact DGM direct so I did.

Called the number (not a free number unfortunately) and got straight through, no being put on hold. Was emailed and RMA form, completed it and emailed it back, was sent an RMA address.

I posted it 1st Class recorded at 4.30pm last night catching the last post. Received a DPD email half an hour ago saying I have a package on the way - hopefully it's a new power brick!

Very impressed at the speed of the rma service with DGM, not so impressed I've had to pay £8 shipping to send it back, they said they wouldn't cover that. But at least hopefully I'll have a working monitor again as of tomorrow.

That's good to know pal! I also got the same reply from OcUK when I raised an RMA for my power supply failing the other week. Just not got round to contacting them yet. Thanks for the feedback.

Yeah, just bit of a shame that they

a) Couldn't have just sent a replacement power supply out free of charge seeing as it's obvious that was the part at fault

or

b) Covered the cost of shipping it back if they wanted it back that badly.

I'm under the impression that they'd arrange their own courier collection if it was the entire monitor that had failed (according to TNA's post)

I'd have done that if I hadn't wall mounted it, but there's no way I'm going through the hassle of taking it down and removing the back panel again to send the whole thing back just to save £8. A bit too risky in case I damage it.

Agreed! The power supply seems to be the weak point with these monitors.

New one arrived today.

They only replaced the power brick half of the cable though, not the kettle lead part with the wall plug as that still had the sticker on it I use to figure out which plug is what under my desk.

So far so good after plugging it back in :)

Dicehunter give it a chance, first one i got was a duff but ocuk replaced it and im chuffed with it, i used to have a 27" 120hz but i much prefer 1400p, when playing fps online i found what i lost in refresh rate i galned in image clarity

Agree. My power brick gets super hot. I turn off monitor when not use PC. It seems to help.
