Di Matteo sacked

HAHAHAHAH

I feel so sorry for RDM but that club is a parody of itself! Guardiola to make an appearance?

Shocking news and treatment tbh. Who would seriously want that job and why can't these clubs settle for consistency which is just as important than any one player or manager?

Oh sweet pancakes NO! Redknapp may reappear again.

I dont know if I could take his face all over his media again!

I hate to say it, but I think the club got this sacking right.* The mistake was hiring RDM full time after the CL final, and he was always keeping the bench warm until RA gets his next big name manager.

The poor league form last season continued after RDM replaced AVB, this season the league form has been good on paper but a lot of the early season wins were with questionable performances against 'easy' teams. Chelsea have consistently looked unbalanced and vulnerable, the 'big' teams have taken advantage.

Odds on Mourinho returning? this is the other rumour that has been gaining momentum in the last few weeks.

*EDIT: the caveat being who they have lined up to take over, if they don't have someone better ready to take over then it's yet another colossal shambles.

It is ludicrous. You only have to look at clubs like ourselves and Arsenal to see that consistency pays (provided you don't let managers outstay their welcome). Even City to an extent have stuck by Mancini when there are numerous instances where he could have been sacked and it paid off for them last year.

What an absolute joke, drafted in to get Chelski back to playing football the way the players wanted, wins the Champion's League and marked as the messiah and now sacked.

Well done Chelski, well done.

The most worrying thing is that the new manager will probably want to bring his own team in with him which might mean a different physio.
We can't lose Eva.

Life’s a bitch and you could see this looming. Yes he's a legend but there's been nothing legendary since winning the champions league. I'm sorry for him but the defence problem and formation have not been resolved.

The season has been one step forward and two and a half back. We have clueless attacking and a very leaky defence. Not much of a change from last season.

The man holding the reins takes the blame and it's not as though he's not had the time to move forward. There is no point in continuing as he’s shown no ability to manage tactics or a pool of very talented players. Better now than in another month or so when it will have only got worse.

Can’t wait to see who we get now.
