Diablo 3 (Console versions)

I'll probably be picking this up on Xbox One now, so my wife and I can transfer our characters over from the 360 version (and she much prefers the Xbox controller over the DS4). Looking forward to going through it again.
 
Looking forward to this a lot. Going to see if all my mates are willing to create a seperate character that we ONLY use when we are all online.

I did that on D2 many yearss ago with people and it was fun going through it all together. Especially us all making level 85 on Hardcore - before being wiped out!!! lol
(i never played it again after that...)

I enjoyed this on PC, but was mostly by myself the entire game so by the end i was really bored. Will be much more fun sitting back on the sofa with all my mates too - maybe with some beers or even playing with some of us in the same room if they come to my house
 
So is everyone selling or trading in their Diablo 3 before the Ultimate Edition gets released? Bit silly they're not releasing the DLC only for people who owns D3 already...
 
Yeah... It's stupid that they are not releasing Reaper of Souls as a DLC, I've only got the 5 million coin pickup trophy to get and I was hoping that reaper of souls would help with that.

I've keeping my copy of D3 for the PS3, who knows ROS might be a buggy as hell on the ps3 so the original may be the version of have, Diablo is selling for some odd prices on eBay, we may have a collectors item on our hands.

I think I will make the jump to the PS4 when ROS comes out :)
 
I was a bit annoyed about getting it again having bought it on release for PC and I I just finished it once and never went back to it.

BUT, given that most of my mates are getting this I don't mind anymore. At least 4 are buying it, with some more possibly renting it so I'm looking forward to playing through it in a group, more than the actual game. It may even be something my wife would put a little time into....maybe
 
Just got this to play with a mate at the weekend. Got it on Xbox 360, so do we play on the same profile? Or on separate ones?

And are there any good character combos you recommend? I've played D3 on PC for a bit as a Demon Hunter, but also like the look of the Witch Doctor (who has pets if I remember correctly?)

I had a moan on D3 social network on FB. And an admin of sort did state that their maybe a digital download just for the expansion via the online shop on Microsoft network.

But might just sell my copy of D3 and get a tenner towards the expansion + D3
 
Had this on PC since it was launched, I think all my characters are paragon lvl 40 at least, left it alone for a few months now I'm looking forward to RoS on the Xbone, can't wait!
 
Looking forward to this for two reasons, Diablo is excellent, and two player co-op mode means the gf will get involved which will stop any complaints about wanting to watch "insert random tv show", in the living room.
 
Really looking forward to this also. I only plan on playing it when I go and visit a friend of mine. We've been itching to get our hands on a decent co-op (that isn't a FPS) for a while. My only concern is that we won't even scratch the surface of the game playing 2-3 hours a week.
 
This may be a slightly odd question but... is there anything to stop me transferring save files to and from XB1 and X360 at will? The reason I ask is that I take my 360 to a mates house to play and Diablo 3 was going to be our next co-op thing after Extinction mode on COD failed to stand the test of time like the awesome Zombies mode of the previous game.

I now have an XB1 that I use at home but I'm reluctant to transport that backwards and forwards for fear of breaking it so I was wondering if I had a copy on both 360 and One could I use a single save on both or is it likely to be more hassle than it is worth?

PS3 to PS4, Xbox 360 to Xbox One

Moving your character from last-gen consoles to new-gen consoles is a bit of a pain. Here's the full process:

Export Your Save from Diablo 3
1. Launch Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition.
2. Download and install patch 1.0.3 for Diablo 3.
3. Log in to your Sony Entertainment Network (SEN) or Xbox Live (XBL) account.
4. Proceed to the main menu. Navigate to "More" > "Export Save."
5. Confirm this selection and proceed through any prompts that appear.

Import Your Save to Ultimate Evil Edition:
1. Log in to the same SEN or XBLaccount from which you exported your save.
2. Launch Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition.

Once you've done that, the game will now scan Blizzard's servers for your exported save data and load it.

Note that if you launched Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition on your new platform before you exported, you have to manually import the save. It's less annoying than it sounds.
