I've made my first Hardcore character, a demon hunter doing a Slow Down build and my god, Rapid Fire overpowers mobs it's crazy. Just need to run out, slow them with traps and see them demolished.

Crazy!

If you're overpowering, turn the Monster Power up... More loot from it too.

How? I can't seem to find the option?.. :confused:

Just finished it on normal, considering starting again but I have lots on my plate at the moment (moving and new job), so I might just farm on normal for a while as I've boxed most of my other games away.

You'll need to pop out of the game (on whatever mode you're in), on the main dash, go into quest select, select the mode, quest you're currently on (or the closes), then difficulty... this is where you'll find Easy, Medium, Hard, Monster I-V.

The higher the difficulty, the more loot you'll find, but you'll find bigger hoards and stronger bosses. Farm on that rather than just upping the mode. Big difference between Modes but loot/gold farming is more to do with Difficulty.

Only on Monster I in Inferno and we're finding loads :)
 
just fired up my ps3 to have play with my stunning monk (49% stun on hit) he Was so amazing, but the ps3 no longer reads any game discs. i tried all the easy fixes but nope no reading for me :( ah well i had a good 4'ish years outta it.

just ordered it for my 360 :)

oh and i wont be picking up any legendary plans til i'm lv60, hopefully will get higher lv ones that way?

May be a bit late but are you getting a ps4? seems like you will be able to transfer your character to the PS4 from PS3 version.
 
still not sure which next gen i'll get, won't be for a long time anyway. prolly get the xbox one when forza6 comes out.
 
heh yep, i dunno yet really i'm holding off next till spring and it depends how well FM5 does, i've been all pessimistic about it but who knows it might turn out epic.
 
I'm really still not sure about the storyline/lore on this third game. The game acts seems very long at the start and shorter towards the end. It maybe just that like any game of this type it's hard at the start and once you level up loads of time, you become overpowered and mow down baddies quicker.

At the same time I feel that it retells and gives us more information on the lore of some of the characters in diablo 1 and places them in the game when the characters don't really need to be as their butts have already been kicked in the first one.

Still a mighty fine game and looking forward to reaper of souls when that comes out. Hopefully there be a disc update for the consoles as well as the dlc version.
 
Blizzard has announced Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition for PS4. Set for release next year, the game will include Diablo 3 and upcoming expansion Reaper of Souls.

Excellent news.
 
hit level 60 last night! on Medium for monsters i did have it on Hard but rage kicked in! :P
 
I played the PC version first, and was stuck on the way to Magda the butterfly (the spider hole in first act) of Inferno. Last month I got the PS3 version, so just start over! I love to play a barbarian which makes me feel good when holding a hammer in hand and fight a way out!

Do we look like Optimus Prime and Bumblebee here in Diablo 3?

Has they been any announcement for next gen? I currently have this on 360 but don't know wether to keep it (incase they do a upgrade option to the One) or sell it now and buy it when it gets released for the One?

Anyone still playing this?

Since Missus (Babs) and I (Monk) hit level 60 and completed Inferno, we've been Master 3 farming, for Legendary sets and Keywardens.

Hoping for people to go fight Keywardens and doing the portals for Hellfire Rings - I've got 2/3 organ by chance with another group of 3, and missus feels left out. Fought 2 portals with NO drops made it disappointing when doing it in pair.

Both missus and I have an infernal machine each...
 
Didn't get into this game on PC due to lack of any friends playing it. So really looking forward to it on the PS4. Think there are 5 of my friends getting it that I know of, maybe one more. So should always be at least 3 of us online.

Plus, my wife 'might' play it but to be honest she doesn't really have time to game so we'll see. Hopefully can, a little.
 
Already pre-ordered on PS4, now the wait for the release date. I played and enjoyed the heck out of it on the PS3 whereas on PC I just didn't enjoy it.
