** Diablo 4 Thread **

Wudijo has a good video out about how hes planning to tackle his early days in the game. Hes gonna try for world first pinnacle boss kill. Given that hes had the press access the last couple of weeks he mentioned hes got to level 80 on that.

Except he now can't compete for the title as he had press access, he can only do so in spirit.

Any else attempting to do the hardcore challenge at all ?

I might give it a go as I played Diablo 3 Seasons in Hardcore mode
Nope, me and my group of co-op mates only play HC but we're not rushers (the opposite really) so not something we'll be trying for. We're more of the "enjoy the scenery" A to B'ers :)

blizzard are mad for adding a prize to this,
1. only digital deluxe owners will have a chance being 4 days ahead
2. people have died rushing or playing WoW & diablo to long in the past (or neglected their kids) & caused serious harm. now their adding a prize to it? their mad, they will get sued & people will be harmed. not saying its fully blizzards fault BUT dont put a very rare prize on it
whilst lilth statue is not nothing to special having your name engraved & only being a 1000 will be collectors item in many years time.
in my eyes blizzard are pushing those "special" people who get addicted to the challenge to harm themselves & others.

would i love this to be good idea yeh, but unfortnately in this world this prize is dangerous & people will be harmed

Some of the "full" reviews are coming out now. 9/10 from IGN

ForceGaming - "Worst thing for me while playing the review build was when the servers went offline last week because I just wanted to keep on playing, which is a telltale sign"

Urg i was afraid of this i was just going to by the 60 quid version but now i think im going to have to suck it up and spend 80 quid on a game for the first time which is going to hurt a tad! Damm them for it being a friday for Early Access!

lol it's a disgusting mobile mtx shop pretending to be a game, I dunno why so many ppl can't see it.
I mean to be fair, the mtx are only cosmetics, so not really any different than Path of Exile in that regard, no idea why anyone pays real money for cosmetics but I guess thats a whole different psychological story

Havent actually heard of a lot of those review sites apart from the major ones, maybe some of those are more familiar to other folks. Overall though, scores look decent

Been avoiding as much as poss, but desperate for info on the endgame. Seeing that vid Tomb' posted made me feel a lot better about it, because I was worried at one point. Inevitable purchase for me so went for mid tier version. Looking forward to the weekend.

Is the D3 OCUk guild going to be remade?

A hand full of the reviewers are what I would consider "slightly trust worthy" and they all seem to say the same. D4 is an ok game with an ok end game, but its not re-inventing the wheel and will more than suffice for 2-3 weeks of gameplay for a season depending on how they move things along.

The campaign isn't that long and some finished it in < 10 hours, but if your a min/max player or a completionist, you'll get 30-50 hours at least.

The game will be completely different two years from now. This is a live service game, it's not a finite product like D1/D2 and to a large degree D3 was. It'll change season on season, there'll be more content added, new mechanics, new gear, new metas. This is just the beginning of a very long journey.

Probably somewhere around 300-500 hours for me and I've got zero chance of completing it in under 10 hours on hardcore, I will have probably died and restarted 10 times in 10 hours :D
