Did I mess up my life?

This is by far the least realistic and least viable business idea I've ever heard of in my entire life I cannot believe you're serious :(

Do we care? We're not dumb enough to start anything seriously without adding stuff up and working it out. When it gets to that point then we'll sit down and work it out, but for now this sort of cold realism isn't welcome, dreamy idea's only please.

Can i sugest you make the bus entirely silver/crome.
It will stick out like the dogs balls and no one would miss an all crome drouble decker coming down the road :D

After all that dreamy cream egg centre of ideas for a LanBus, I think its time to face the fact I need cash NOW to pay bills and what have you. :o

Thanks again all those who have posted, its been no end of help :)

How about in the commutable distance?

Well, put it this way...
In north devon, there's probably 2, maybe 3 large towns. Bideford, Barnstaple (10 miles), and Torrington (6 miles). Torrington isnt really a large town, but compared to most of the places up here, it is, a few shops, a bank, about it. Barnstaple's bigger than here, but rarely any jobs at the mo, and bideford is horrifying for jobs. Just care work (which i am NOT doing under any circumstances), cleaners (been there, done that, nearly killed meself :p ), and the odd junior accountant or two, which i apply for, and get turned away. So... yeah, its fun.

Thats naff. I guess all you can do is keep applying for whats there and hope that something will come up more suited. If not you could always look at moving  never an ideal situation, but it depends on what you want to do with your life.

Yeah i'd like to move, but not having a driving licence (yet ;) ) and absolutely 0 money, its out the question at the moment. :(

Yea, I'm dipping into my nest egg that I've saved since I was like 3 to pay for my driving lessons. £20 quid/hour does hurt the funds, then its almost £100 each time you take the practical. But I dont have to worry about that YET.

/Edit If your serious about moving out then start to make the preparations, do crap work, just enough to save up the money to take the first step and go on from there.

Thing is i cant even get into crap work!
I had a crap cleaning job at a country club and dont work there any more because "women do a better job", I even bloody applied at morrisons and didnt get an interview, so what the hell am i supposed to do? I really have had enough now, and i dont even have a nest egg to get money from. I'm skint, i dont get any benefits, but damn it, i'm trying as hard as i can, and failing. Miserably.

Been driving for 5 years and yes its liberating but its costly.

MOT/TAX/Petrol/Insurance + Car costs and repairs

Just bought myself a bike and done over 300 miles on it.

Id love to cycle around the world, its one of my dreams.

I used to cycle everywhere, did 5 miles every morning before 8am for about a year and half. As it stands now I haven't been on a bike properly in probably about the same. I don't have as much free time as I'd expect from someone in my position. :o

Theres always options, keep applying to everywhere, its getting your foot in the door thats the hard bit. Once your in you can stay in for a while. See a careers advisor if neccessary, I saw one and it was semi on her advice I dropped out of college. We'll see if that was the correct choice in a years time

Possibly, but could you get fit or get a job in it that doesnt require much fitness?

I'm pretty sure you have to do a fitness test, no matter what job you undertake, and i'm not at all fit :p
Could have a look into it though, never crossed my mind before, thanks :)

Take up a martial art, sounds a bit weird but its helped me a lot through the years. Given me confidence, a better fitness state, more dedication to things I like and other little bits. I get a lot of enjoyment out of it too.

I'd love to join the army, the range of things you learn, the places you visit, the people you meet, the skills you gain.

Then you are posted in Iraq. Only thing putting me off joining.
