It did mine.

God knows how it happened but after been stood outside work today something had frozen in the drivers door which meant it wouldn't bloody close !

I had to drive home holding onto it to make sure it didn't open, was a right draft coming in !

Defrosted at 7am, all was fine apart from it was ****** cold! :D

Turns out I wasn't even due in work  back to bed I went! Nothing like a freezing cold morning drive to wake you up...

It was caked in snow, but started straight away. Did leave it running for a good 5-10 minutes whilst I cleared the rest of the snow off though and got it a bit warmer inside.

Windscreen washer jets froze over today. I had no idea untill i was on the M1 and someone sprayed crud over my windscreen. I pressed the screen wash spray button and my wipers started but no screen wash came out! So i was left with a filthy smudged windscreen and i couldn't see a thing!

I had to pull into the service station and wait for them to defrost :s

Oh, and my HT leads are old and often struggle if sat in damp weather for a few days. Got some new ones coming on Tuesday for me to fit. Could do with a new dizzy and rotor arm too but money is tight! Never mind, maybe next month...

The Odyssey light weight battery didn't like starting this morning and the car stalled a few times in traffic until fully warmed up as well.
The traction control light was flashing its heart out :p

Neil.

My t4 doesn’t have central locking so I rubbed the driver’s door lock until it warmed up, and warmed up the key in my hand until I was in!
It’s also the first time it hasn’t turned over on the very first crank!

Not today but the last few days (car reading -5 and -6) the handbrake froze on.

Had to wait for it to defrost, good job the exhaust runs fairly close to it!

Don't know if that is common with rear disk (first car I have had with them) cars but never had a problem with rear drums.

It made the DSC light come on a bit.

I guess mine would have done, had my routine for getting into the car not gone thusly:

Press keyfob > Open Door > Ignition On > Engine On > Hold DSC Button (8 seconds) > Drive Away.

As such, my TCS and Stability lights are on constantly.

I dont get these at all, i know its very cold outside, ive just come from there!

However I have started a journey at +11ºc, and arrived at the destination with the temperature at -5ºc, so your scenario isn't always the case.
