Die Hard 4

Watched it today also in premier seats, very nice.

Best film released in the last few years or more to be honest. Brilliant! At first when I was asked to go I was going to decline after the thought of the Die Hards. I've seen them so many times it got boring but this was great!

Well worth the money (Plus I got it cheaper :D)

Yay, just saw it today, excellent action film, the one-liners were awesome. Though I admit I was rooting for the bad guys through most of the film until the end.

Yup. :D

Quite an important role.
That he wrote himself after there was a lot of holes that they said that his scene would sort... and didn't.

Single day shoot turned into a full week for him.

Just returned and thought it was pretty good, yet tainted by some 'Thats... impossible' moments that the other films didn't have. Whilst this would be ok in any other action film, it just didn't fit in with the other die hards which were more realistic.

Also no character development of the daughter... at all. In fact thinking about it there was next to no character development at all. It wasn't very emotionally engaging. But this is an action film... a Die Hard film though..... hmmm.

On par (or slightly above) Die Hard 2 :)
 
Poo ending imo - needed a bigger finish so to speak ;)

Also they half flaked on the classic line which annoyed me :(

Also they should have used the line from Die Hard 2:

"How can the same **** happen to the same guy...." :>
 
Both of the helicopter death bits made me laugh, particularly the first one where he drives into the fire hydrant. :D

Definitely the best movie out for a few years.
 
hmm it was ok. nothing on the other 3 though. it just didnt feel like die hard as someone mentioned before.

better than i expected, but worse that i wanted.

Nah, thats a classic of that film.

What can i say, absolutely loved it, and going to see it again midweek. The ending could have been much better, but never mind. I was expecting a lot of CGI etc trying to make insane stunts, but they didnt really apart from the jet part.

"dude you just took out a helicopter with a car.......yeah well, had no bullets left" :cool:

Some of the one liners were brilliant, and i had a good giggle at the gears of war shots. Best film ive seen in a fair while.

I just got back home from watchin it. All I can say is that it was absolutely AWESOME! Sure some of the stuff was completely over he top but that was what made it so damn good. Its the best movie I have seen in quite some time!
 
Loved the film and loved the F-22A Raptor at the end, was a bit like True lies with the Harrier. :D
 
Well it's got a shallow storyline
Cheesey one-liners
Meaningless violence
and surely that's impossible moments.

But it was great. Best action movie for years.
