Guys it doesn't matter whether you play standard or hardcore, this is about choice, some like it one way others like it another, with dedicated servers and mod support both win.

im annoyed about the whole lack of dedicated server issue even though i play it on ps3. this is because i was going to buy MW2 on pc for all the benefits that pc versions bring, dedicated servers and so on. i have seen how much better it is because my son plays cod4 on pc. so i was hoping for the same experience on MW2 but it turns out its just a locked down console version

If their camping their own base, that's valid, but if their camping your spawn point, that's just because they suck and can't win via skill.

A few servers I play on only let you camp with a sniper/bolt which I think is easily valid. Maybe a heavy machine gun too.

It's people that camp behind a door with an smg and think they're skilled that annoy me a little.
