I honestly think that after it is out, and people start to say that it's not actually that bad then the 'boycott' sales will start to trickle through

If piracy was that high then I'm sure a lot of people would be more understanding of their position.
I doubt it, far too many seem to think it is their right to pirate and that anything being done to get in the way with that is a criminal offence.![]()

It was in one of the replies to the boycott from their PR staff member. On the IW forum one of the members proved it was something like 1% so lots thinking this is all just in aid of killing PC development and publishing for consoles only since they'll buy expensive DLC packs etc.
Anyone notice the wipeing of user rateings on a major store that had been bombarded?
Have they said that? If the stats were that bad then surely they would just come out in public and say look, 60% of pc gamers stole from us so we have to stop this.

I must admitted I'm surprised (and glad) that people are geniunely cancelling their PC pre-order.
