Dirt Rally 2.0

Hmmm. Ive only just realised that the deluxe edition is released this coming Friday........... Im off work this Friday and not back until Tuesday....... dammit
 
yeah deluxe is out 22nd. i can release video footage monday. best get back to playing. the gravel on this is amazing. i loved wales to bits on dirt rally 1 but i think poland in this game may have it beat ! :D also road deformation really makes a difference .

When / are you allowed to talk about the physics and FFB in this ? Im sure they'll nail it and it will be fine like Dirt Rally. Im just a bit paranoid after Dirt4, because that was bloody awfull in terms of both FFB / physics in terms of simulation.
 
think tomorrow onwards as videos will go live then. this isnt dirt 4. the gravel and rwd is sublime.worth the purchase alone. much swearing has been done over this weekend ! :D

AI , Degrading of the road really plays a part as does tyres. choose wrong. goodbye. :p
 
I'm quite torn, really. On the one hand, I'd love some rally fix as WRC7, while good, is just not as good as Dirt Rally. On the other hand, I think it's sensible to wait till they add at least Season 1 content to get a more complete experience. Will have to think it through.

Did Codies say DLC countries will feature the same stages as in Rally?

Will wheel support be spot on straight after launch. Or will I have to faff about all day on Friday trying to get good FFB results on my t300 ?

Or, can you or will Codies suggest good wheel settings come launch ?

graphics are a lot better.

gravel which i mainly played is better than dirt rally. also many people havent realized mp rally is in this time. so you can do a lobby and you rally against each others times live. which is really good fun. seeing sector times how much you up down. gets very tense. :D

Wow, great addition. I really enjoyed doing even the dailies in Rally so more MP content is really good news.

See ive watched the videos and one of the comments from your M3 New Zealand video simply says "Flat track, box physics"

To me, DR2 seems a bit tamer !! When i watch your DR2 videos and do a rough comparison of your DR1 videos, im gonna say that DR1 looks and seems like you are right on the limit. DR2 looks a bit stale in comparison. It all looks a bit leisurely when i watch the Dirt Rallly 2 vids, god i hope im wrong.
