DiRT Rally Hits Steam Early Access

I just bought the 205 myself and it is just mental. Crazy handful to keep on the track, but when you let it off the leash it just goes!

Here's my first go in it. I'm particularly proud of the save at 2:50 :D

After watching your video I having being trying to beat your time. The short of it being I couldn't. :P

I did have one really amazing run then managed to crash into the gate at the very last water splash! :(

Not sure if the xbox controller is holding me back? I can use that as an excuse, right? :D
 
Right, it can be done.

I was on the last few bends (the water bit) and was around 5:55.00 ish and then my bloody game crashed.

Im fuming hahaha.

Right, off to curse some more and do it again.

Just tried my best, but I can't make the whole thing without crashing at least once! My best so far is 7:15, thanks to having to recover twice and a couple screw ups along the way.
 
im using default settings ingame and a logitech dfgt.

just done another wales track with the audi. Bidno moor. time was 3:18.


 
Argh! Was running 2nd and then fell off the road as an unrecoverable car in the last sector of the last stage of the last event in career mode! Instead of getting a pile of cash I left with a £3k bill :(.

Had error code 41 and deleted a game from my ssd. It works ok now i have some space. Report back if this works for you.

Ive got a sneaky feeling it was to do with the overclock i did on my gpu. I have since put the oc back to normal and things appear ok.

I will fire it up again in a bit to see if its still working, plus i need to beat Dg's time too :-)

Thanks for the heads up though dude. I will try that if it fails again.

1 is the hardest turn, 6 is the easiest.
60 or 100 etc is the distance to the next call.
"3 long then tighten to 2" would mean the turn is a 3 for majority and then tightens :)
 
So. On Sweet Lamb in the Peugeot with no assists (auto gearbox) managed a 6:20.034 after about 4 million attempts. I reckon i can get that down another 3-5 seconds but it has to be a flawless run.
