Dishonored 2

11th November ... so one Christmas present sorted when the wife/children ask !

Loved the first one. you could stealth or slaughter for all the missions, beautiful style to the world and the DLC added more elements to the story. Huge replay value.
 
Only bought the 1st on a couple of days ago and thoroughly enjoying it currently. Somehow Ive spent over 10 hours playing and only done 3 levels, loving how much there is to do on each section.
 
Pre-orders of Dishonored 2 currently get Dishonored GOTY Edition for free. So if you missed the original or didn't get all the DLC then it's a nice bundle. GMG currently have 22% off the regular Steam price.
 
Loved the first game and hopefully this won't disappoint. They don't even need to change much, it'll still feel fresh among all the crap that's being released nowadays:p
 
I'm just worried they might overcomplicate it - part of the charm of the first game was that you could pretty much drop into the mechanics if you were familiar with many of the older classic games.
 
Fingers crossed, the original was very good, although hopefully they dont go too far down the ridiculous collection of accessories route many sneak games go down, i hate the hoarding arrows aspect of games like theif
 
If this is like the first one, then you can play it how you want, the first game had two endings.
One for being good and one for being bad, so if this is the same you can play it as the mood takes you.
I hope it's worthy, can't wait!!
 
I only got about an hour into the first one. Loved the art style but remember finding movement too slow. Even the run speed felt lethargic to me

It is kind of on purpose - after about an hour of play you should have either the blink or agility abilities and/or one or more of the bone charms that increase movement speed (though some of them just offset movement speed penalties).
 
I loved the first so really looking forward to this. I'll probably hold off a while to see if its any good though, plus i still have the dlc to do for the first game.


I hope they have changed the ambient music, for some reason it did my head in on the first game. It was this constant weird noise repeated over and over. My only criticism though and one that seems to be only me that it annoyed lol.

I was bad :(. I wonder if the second is affected by the way you played the first?
