I'm playing through the first over the next couple of evenings to get me in the mood for it.

Same.

You sort of forget how much of a 'gamers game' it really is. So much hidden depth to the combat system. Can't help but save before a pivotal assassination and mess around with all the different ways it can be done. So much fun.

Yea! It's very fun being creative in killing, laying down traps, throwing bottles so the enemies walk into the traps, silent kills leaving no trace (once you've got the skills) etc etc.

It's just fun and not boring.

i nearly got my copy from here but GMG and steam bundle in the first game and all dlc free which i don't have so was worth getting it from GMG for me.

just done that over the past week, finished the main game now onto the DLC

i actually didnt buy the first one until it was cheap for the GOTY version as i watch a few videos and didnt think i would like it.. then i finally tried it and was pleasantly surprised, great game
 
I've found that as I've gotten older, games don't hold my attention like they used to. I'm rarely really taken by a game and usually find I have to force myself to play it! However, Dishonored was a game that I couldn't put down. I thought the styling and setting was so unique and brilliantly done. I can't wait to play the sequel in a few days!!
 
Pre orders get to play it a day early. Hoping my key gets here soon from CDkeys!

Loved the first one and there is so many play styles it welcomes. Some of the total destruction videos you can watch on it are class and I love watching them fly about just wasting dudes!

Yeh you get 2 different steam keys and can get rid of one if you want .
