Dishonored 2

Prey sucks for me on my 6700k ddr4 memory 780ti, constant streaming from my hard drive for textures unless i play on low, strange, guess not enough vram on card, only 3GB, game dont even look that good, so would have thought my card would be fine.

Yeah Prey doesnt look 'omg its Crysis!' so i would have thought a 780ti would own it, it really baffles me how some people just have problems with it, Dishonored 2 included.

I've just finished the "get into the mansion in the dust district" level. Was I the only one that sat down with a pen and paper and worked out the riddle without doing anything else? It took about three attempts for me to get the ladies in the right place but I was a bit disappointed when the lock opened and the level ended!! I didn't do anything else, not even collected the runes. Whoops.

I've been sticking with Corvo but I read up on Emily's powers. They seem quite intriguing. Also been keeping to Low Chaos but next playthrough it's going to be mad. I'm gonna kill everyone! Mwhahahaha.

Heh heh me too, did low chaos first time with Emily. Corvo is going to get messy.

Emily's powers are awesome, they're great fun.

I've just picked up the Death of the Outsider dlc to play while this heatwave is on. It's low power requirement means my GPU is keeping nice and cool. Really loving it but always sad when there is no more content to play. Awesome games.

Bit of a bump but it looks like Bethesda have removed Denuvo from Dishonored 2 and Death of the Outsider. There is no official word but some folks have "tools" that can detect DRM on games and they say Denuvo is not coming up anymore on those games.

Just tried this again on my 70S, and its terrible, when im looking around, i seem to get this constant blur micro stutter, which i never got on my Vega 64 (as id have noticed), ive tried changing loads of settings, like camera blur, the fps limiter, triple buffering, but nothing seems to work.

On steam forums somebody in 2018 said:

Playing this in 2018 and can confirm turning off v-sync and using borderless full screen mode results in no stutter and no tearing. Thanks!

I looked at screen of game menu and I think it was to do with the internal RES and Sync option in the game, once I sorted these out it was fine.

V-sync: Off; On; Half
Adaptive resolution: Off; Vsync-based; Manual; Always
Adaptive resolution FPS target: 29 -> 60 in increments of 1
Adaptive resolution quality: Quality; Balanced; Performance

I was going to try a low chaos run, but it just doesn't feel right. They should have made the soldiers seem like they're caught in the middle and just decent people trying to make a living for their families, but instead they're all seemingly rapists and murderes according to that heart thing.
